Mike is 100% the kind of person who thinks that because they use big words to convey an idea rather than use simpler words that makes him smarter than others. Two minutes in: “we will have a more consistent result” can easily be phrased “it will come out better.”
True education and intelligence is learning how to get your point across and be understood by your audience. Big words are fun, but everything has a place and in casual conversation there is no need. It actually makes that person come off as less educated because they don’t understand their audience.
While I can see what you want to say I feel like being precise about what you want to say and using the right words to express yourself is important. It will not only “come out better” the drawing will be better because of it’s consistency and that is an important distinction in a artistic competition

Hands down he is the worst tattoo artist to ever appear on the show. The lion isn't bad but he had a good reason to be in the bottom for only saying he had one machine. And thank God he went home on the anatomical one. Like bro, if you're an expert at this stuff, show us. You didn't show any of that in the tattoo. I also gotta say he looks a lot better with long hair in my opinion.

To me, Mike is a mini me version of Josh. They both use big words to try and impress people. Their tattoo skills are meh (in comparison to others on the show) and they both always think they’re right no matter what.
