i wear 2 sprays of mancera red tobacco pretty much every day to the office and my coworkers always say i smell good. When you spray early enough in the morning so that amazing sweet dry down begins at work people will love you as long as you go easy on the sprays
I ordered a 10ml of Grand Soir because I had a black tie event but it’s still very hot and humid here so I went for my clean & fresh option, Chrome United, weather and environment is a factor to consider, not just daytime/nighttime You can rock a freshie for a date, you don’t have to go on a date smelling like a scoop of vanilla ice cream
These categories have really helped me start building a collection. Got Carlisle for the upcoming Fall/Winter and YSL Myslf for the office. Taking a trip to Costa Rica soon and I have a travel size of Sedley on standby for that. Still testing out date night frags, but TF Noir Extreme seems like the move for that. My wallet’s taken some hits but I like to think of things in cost per use terms. Thanks Omar for being super beginner friendly but also going into depth on notes and all that jazz.
Heat exposure and intensity are really the only things that restrict fragrances for me. If it smells disgusting in high heat and direct sunlight, or if it has zero performance in cold weather. If you're sitting in a car for 4 hours, or if you're spending 8 hours outside. The rest is down to the individual and how the fragrance reacts with their skin.
As long as you’re not wearing heavy oud for something super casual and something super fruity and bubbly on serious occasions I think you can wear anything anytime, it’s really not that deep
Best office fragrance for me is Tom Ford Grey Vetiver. Classy, calm, rich. Perfect for office work. I've tried Terre'd Hermes EDT and Eau Givree but they were too loud. Especially the classic EDT one.

You have 3 altenartives already, dont let someone else tell you what you should like, sample them or try them out in the store on your skin and take the one you like the most, just because someone else likes something doesnt mean its the right choice for you. This video explains it pretty good what you should look after so you already have alot of help. Part of the journey is to try out different things and find something that is very special to you. I have the regular L'Homme Ideal EDP, it's my favourite fragrance, i love it For the office i think YSL L'Homme EDT is great i never see people recommending it

I actually prefer having in my collection a winter only fragrance instead of a clubbing scent, just as for summer. So in this way you don't have to use your versatile fragrance for almost the entire year. What do you think Omar?

I have 2 main categories:
* for summer
* for winter
Each category has 2 fragrances: 1 for everyday, 1 for something special.

My fragrance shelf is organized in a similar manner
I am similar as well, I have 4 per season (cold/warm)
When I'm in the shower, it's the only time I don't use perfume.
