Worst thing is they haven't played songs of Reload live. How many did they actually play? It's not more than 2-3?
I know, right? I'd kill to hear Fixxxer live. Even Hetfield has previously admitted he really likes the song... I just wish we could hear it live.

This was awesome, how have i missed this for so many years? Props to Lars, he really plays well. His drumming on Load and ReLoad is very good, full of nice grooves and fills.

One of the best songs they’ve ever written. Every word, every strike of the snare. These albums were their most poetic by far and my personal intro to metal and tallica and because of it guitar ultimately changing my life forever as a professional musician for 25 years. And my mom’s favorite. Lost her this year. Thankful for this music. Hope we get more like Reload.
If Clapton made a cover of "Horsemen" I think this is what it would sound like.

it's a shame they gave up on this album. there were some damn good songs on Load and Reload, but they never play anything from them these days but the hits. might as well just have said "you fans are right. those albums aren't metal and we'll never play them again"
Everyone's saying that four horsemen country is really bad and let's remember that Load and reload were experimental album with the hurdy gurdy the piano the frettless bass the slapping and you have to be VERY talented to be able to play a heavy song country.
hetfield is a massive country music fan i love this song it was experimenting whilst the fans did not give such good feedback on a whole but there are some really good songs on load and reload mama said is another one.
Damn .. a whole new dimension to the Four Horsemen ... I never imagined I'd do a rock jive instead of head banging to this song .... epic !!!!

Except Metallica's fan base is far greater than Megadeth's is. I want a band that releases albums that sound different instead of all the same. Don't get me wrong I love Megadeth but Metallica is greater, that is why they are the biggest Metal band in the world right now and have been since the 90s.

@Motorfixxxer he used a ride on disposable heroes also...i noticed a huge change in his style in 94..which was when he removed 2 toms,which was stupid...he added that horrible sounding china..which is actually a swish cymbal..not a china...he also started with those shitty hard plastic sticks...which cut down the impact and the balance from a regular stick...triggers would help is bass drum work...that way you could hear his heel toe gallops...he should respect the instrument..new tech may help.

They should've recorded Low Man's Lyric like this, with Kirk's guitar instead of that stupid hurdy-gurdy. The hurdy-gurdy is the only thing that's wrong with that otherwise perfect song.
Soundtallica in Chains the hurdy gurdy is what separates this song from everything else Metallica have ever done, in a good way though. it's sometimes good to broaden your horizons.
