The next time I cook something (today) I am going to serve it while saying, "It will be higgledy-piggledy". and I can't wait to say, "Chickens!!" like Mary Berry did when she visited the kids. How enchanting!
Mary reminds,me of my Gran she has so much love for cooking I love watching n learning from her channels the older ppl know how to cook the best #tv#grandma#Ms Berry
This is a wonderful treat when you can't sleep. I deal with the same thing that you do when it comes to your hands I have not found a medication out there that is curable or works hopefully someone will make something that will be beneficial that we don't lose the abilities of our hands I too love love love to bake I enjoy baking I am in my mid-60s and I so much enjoy your British baking in the past and and all your shows I have the opportunity if I can see one I will watch one and I will try to make your recipes take care God bless and thanks
My mom did not put salt in the burgers but put it on top & bottom of the burgers. They did not stick in the pan (no non stick back then) & they got a nice crust from the salt.
To an American, she's NOT making hamburgers, but instead is making meatloaf patties. And with either, here in the states we never add extra oil/fat. There's plenty from the meat. Still, interesting how food culture changes from place to place.
Yes, and the pancakes, or dollar cakes, have lots of sugar (which I don't add), and no vanilla or melted butter, like I put in mine (along with a bit of butter on top when served).
I wonder, w/ the Syllabub, when you cook the wine in the syrup over the stove, does the booziness get cooked out? If my kids eat it I don't want them to get tipsy
Or even better, just get a good kitchen scale and just make the recipe as is - the British measurements are so easy to get the hang of, much easier than the other way around.
One Eighty Fan perhaps? 180 degrees celcius with a fan assisted oven or about 350 degrees fahrenheit (approximately). A fan assisted oven is a convection oven.
In Europe even continental we always make burgers like those... Frikadellen in Germany or mielone in Poland. Real burgers with only beef are rather something only American.
Sweet video, but next time leave off political speech from children who should be focused on the beauty of gardening and not foolish references to political figures.
Seeing the children so excited to be working with Mary Berry is so good. That stir fry truly looks wonderful.
I love Mary's warm voice and mannerisms. She has such a soothing, slow, calming way about her.
Completely agreed. I would add too that there is an affect of joy and wonder in her voice. I love that!
Mary Berry is such a treat. Such a wonderful lady. I love watching her videos. Our world has very few of these ladies left.

Flower Disarno She seems to have a nasty arthritis in her fingers, it’s amazing it doesn’t hold her back.
As a child, Mary had polio on her left side which permanently affected her left hand. Watch her YT interview at the Oxford Union.
Best of English cooking, with love from Norway 💌
I found it so hilarious that the chickens were named after American presidents xD
It makes up for people naming their swine after the royals.
All these kids are so polite and proper haha.
I can watch this all day :)
so glad i found your channel you are a beautiful person and i love your cooking xoxoxox
Rice 5:51 Burgers 19:47 Yumm
Rice and Fish dish VERY CLASSIC!!
I remember when blueberries and maple syrup were exotic american delicacies that could not be easily found, at any price, in England.
@Maria Giulia Rodriguez Grocery supply chains have expanded dramatically in the last 30 years.

The chicken names made me laugh. Kids are hilarious.

What does your race have to do with it 🙄
Diane Bunn unfortunately, we all want her to be our grandma 😭
Diane Bunn, me too and me too. Lol
@@sr9000 Why comment on @Diane Bunn comment? She can say what she wants, her comment was cute
Purest queen ever.

I like how you use tarragon in your chicken.
Drop scones: in Australia I believe these are what we cal Piklets!
I'm from the USA, in our region we call them sand dollar cakes! LoL
Piklets sounds adorable!
huggledemon32 I call them pikelets
@@amandaribofpalmetto do you mean silver dollars??
Wonderful💥
Mary thankyou for the beautiful video 🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇🍇🥞🥞🥞🍔🍔🍔🥓🥓🥩
Kedgeree is the one you can serve to Indian friends.
What do you substitute for double cream if you live across the pond?
Double Cream is heavy whipping cream

Rice kedgeree is like westernised Nasi Briyani, that is my opinion.
She's a diamond
Great lady
AMAZING YUMMY 😋 THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟 MARY BERRY YES WASH RICE ,❤️🖤💚🤎 FAMILY DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜 AWESOME BEAUTIFUL ✨
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Your stir fry looked delicious. Wish I could cook better .
A beautiful dish. You can add cumin because its his friend.
👍❤ superb kukin
How do you get a hard copy of the recipe?
what is the white cream on the drop scones? yogurt?
Yes
It almost looks like Mexican Crema
very nice but please tell in cups measurement or write in the corner for new cooks to convert quickly is not easy
Or even better, just get a good kitchen scale and just make the recipe as is - the British measurements are so easy to get the hang of, much easier than the other way around.
plain plate cakes...hahah drop scones hahahha
Cricpey Mary Berry.
She still looks lovely.
👍👍
Hmmm, adding eggs, breadcrumbs and onions kinda make it into meatball or meatloaf territory lollol.
Beautiful smart and elegant lady

In America, this burger recipe is what we call meatloaf. American burgers contain one ingredient: beef.

What does "oneateyfan" mean?
One Eighty Fan perhaps? 180 degrees celcius with a fan assisted oven or about 350 degrees fahrenheit (approximately). A fan assisted oven is a convection oven.
@@atomiclisa Oh, she means 180 degrees celcius in a convection oven. Thanks
Why does she use metrics sometimes and traditional measurements at other times?
23:20 wtf did she not wash that lettuce?
Hamburger? She's a clove of garlic and a little pork away from a meatball. Burgers are simple and pure, so you can actually taste the beef.
everyone has their own recipe. this is hers.
In Europe even continental we always make burgers like those... Frikadellen in Germany or mielone in Poland. Real burgers with only beef are rather something only American.
Sweet video, but next time leave off political speech from children who should be focused on the beauty of gardening and not foolish references to political figures.
That's not a burger. That's a meatloaf.
