I'm going to a wedding in the USA in September, blacktie optional dress code. No white, offwhite, or any color or pattern that can appear white in photographs. For example, if the print is very small on a white or offwhite background is a hard no here. This is for the American culture in the US, not necessarily for other cultures in the US. I really love your videos. The last one where you said to buy clothes for our true lifestyle, not our dream lifestyles was priceless!

I have attended a wedding where the bride wanted her family ladies to wear off white, it looked amazing and very special. But yes, a general rule is that a white color is only for the bride 🤍 I think that is in most cultures 🤍 thank you for chatting and watching my videos too!☺️
The sequence dress was really great for another occasion. The asymmetrical drape was great on her. Maybe she could buy it and then throw a ritzy party to wear it to! ;-)

I think that the guest should not compete with the bride. The bride needs to be obvious. In photos, there can be no question who the bride is.
