Logically the Galaxy Book4 Edge is much better.
It's a matter of logic, connected the Book4 did 2,838 in single core, and 15,351 in multi core, against 2,765 and 14,220 for the Surface.
Already using battery power and in performance mode, the Book4 scored 2,762 and 13,485 points, against 2,659 and 14,195 points for the Surface, with the Surface reaching 46th against just 40th for the Book4.
In energy efficiency mode, we had 1,659 and 8,714 points on the Book4, against 2,217 and 12,302 on the Surface. So I ask, why does anyone want performance if they're trying to save battery? It doesn't make sense, Book4 is much more lucid.
In graphics, the Book4 won in all scenarios, with longer tests being up to 20% better. I didn't see the GPU test plugged in, but I suppose the difference is even greater in favor of the Book4.
With the Book4 you have a laptop in your control, capable of delivering performance when needed or saving battery.
Book4 started the test with 90% battery, against 87% of the Surface, and ended with 37% battery, against 23% of the Surface.
Book4 was better in performance, it was better in graphics and it was better in battery life, it really won in all scenarios. ARM chips came to deliver performance and battery life and the Book4 did the job much better! There's no discussion! You are misleading people by saying that the Surface was better, in fact it wasn't.

his point was that you shouldn't lose 15% performance in multicore on a lot bigger laptop, with 13.8 inch, a bit more heat is expected compared to bigger chassis
the graphics are crap across, and you aren't buying these for gaming. Bigger battery is also expected (62 kwh vs 46 odd), not to mention 350$ difference in price

Miserable GFX, miserable performance when unplugged, and SW compatibility is ….
Wait till people test them and find out about the SW compatibility. Microsoft’s translation layer is a joke. It’s gonna. Take a long time for this to improve and for SW developer to catch up. And definitely not all will update for native ARM support.
      AI is still not tested.
It’s like a tablet in a laptop body with a bad compatibility. Real productive work need a serious laptop with no “oops, this SW is not compatible” or slow performance because of translation or because of being unplugged!
They’re basically testing them for money, and we’re the testers who are paying the price.
