The guys are ready to cause billions in damages with the Crossover that did a fairly great job in filling the gap between Marvel vs. Capcom titles. It's Tatsunoko vs. Capcom for the Nintendo Wii.

The Narrator in this game is Jeff Manning, the same announcer from the original Super Smash Bros. :)

For those that don't know, the characters of Ken the Eagle, Jun the Swan, and Joe the Condor are from "Gatchaman" (which would be adapted into such series as "Battle of the Planets", "G-Force: Guardians of Space", and "Eagle Riders"), which established the five-member superhero team that would be the basis of "Super Sentai" (which would later be adapted into "Power Rangers"). Basically, if it wasn't for "Gatchaman", there would be no "Power Rangers".
At the end, I expected Johnny to say "This is how I Roll"
"Just you wait, I'll be back in Megaman legends 3!"

Tatsunoko is very popular in Japan, just like Marvel is. That is why this game exists. Please stop saying you don't know why it happened, because it's a similar instance to Marvel, in the MvC series.
Sega vs Capcom? Why have they not made that?! They could have the sonic series and all the sega super stars, and since Atlus is part of sega we could have persona series in there.
I know that Team Rocket from the Pokemon was inspired by the Doronjo group.

They said they never watched anything Tatsunoko. So, they never seen Speed Racer? Or Casshern Sins that was recently on the new Toonami?
I can see not a lot of people seeing Casshern Sins but everyone knows who Speed Racer is

Fun fact, Speed Racer was considered for this game, but they decided not to because they didn't want him to be like Captain Falcon (i.e. having Kamen Rider's moveset to compensate the lack of an original one).
I'm also REALLY bummed the Samurai Pizza Cats didn't made it to this game because (from what I heard) Saban demanded too many royalties.

Main reason this was game took so long to get here was the rights to the tatsunoko side of characters. Here in the states all of those characters are with different companies. In japan they are all under one company. Also they added characters to this version of the game as well. What a shame this game was never on anything outside of the wii.

3 years? whoa time flies. Being only on the wii didn't help at all that's true. But this game came out way to late anyway. It has nothing to do with hating on nintendo.

1:36 Project X Zone reached this problem a bunch. We missed out on the Ring A Bell remix for crying out loud. So many great tracks lost in translation.

I love how Frank west is the only one that speaks English despite the fact he's not the only character added to the western release. My favorite team is Zero and Frank West. They're either on the stage together or not at all in their victory poses.
It's so painful to see them using Baroque and Mega Crash FOR NO REASON!!!
I loved this game a lot. Used to play in a few tournaments for it as well. And had used a gamecube to PS2 controller converter to use my PS2 controller to play it. Was awesome.
Persona 4's opening being 3 hours?
I know it takes a while to get to the first battle, but 3 hours? What are you reading the text in slow-motion Matt? I one time timed how long it would take from the very first cutscene with Igor all the way to the cutscene when Yu first summons his Persona without skipping voice acting, and it took 1 hour and 37 minutes... granted that's still a really long time, but it's a lot shorter than 3 hours.
Maybe he meant persona 3 since the time it takes to get to summoning Orpheus takes a long time.

This is the VS game i have the most experience with and i love it. My mains are Morrigan and Zero although i also like rotating out to Chun Li, Roll, Batsu and TekkamanBlade.

Batsu is voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama, Ocarina of Time's Adult Link (AKA, Link in Soul Calibur 2, Smash Bros. Melee, Smash 64, and Fierce Diety Link.)
I don't own this game, but damn, I had fun playing at a friend's house. Also Elliot got pretty close to beating John at the end there, but Roll's attack REALLY hurts.
I didn't even know Tatsunoko existed until I saw Johnny's review of this game 3 years ago.

Hey Matt, this is a M.U.G.E.N game known as Capcom vs The World.
They have fan made characters like, Sonic, CM Punk, Solid Snake and that detective with the one liners.
The fact that Matt doesn't know the difference between Legends Roll and Classic Roll is kind of disappointing. Unless it's a joke that I'm not getting.
...Considering he's the one who played Legends for the channel, I'm pretty sure he's joking.

Scr4ther your wrong doing the mail mini game was where it was at as was the ball one.
Fun fact: Megaman and Rush were based off of Cassen and Friender. And the plot of the X games takes a lot from Cassen.

The only experience I have with Tatsunoku is the first 4 episodes of Casshern. Tatsunoku was almost autocorrected to sunstroke :l.

Of curiosity, have you guys through of doing a Smackdown Sunday of one of Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja storm series??? Because i played the Pc version of the last one (Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst) and i had A LOT of fun, and i know that it's considerate(in battle system terms) how a battle of the anime/manga should feel.

When it comes to dubs vs subs, I will only take the dub if nothing is edited out otherwise I go with the sub. Plus, Japanese voice acting never really bothered me, personally. But that's just me.
I watch both I'm with Matt on the issue of Dubs not having any changes what so ever but it's the acting that gets me on both sides of the coin

It's supposed to be Casshern, but due the rights-holder for the american distribution mistranslated his name as Casshan, he went for that name in TvC. Funimation now has the rights thought, and goes by the name Casshern in their dub of the last anime he had, Casshern Sins.
Truth to be told, it really sounds to me like the announcer says "Casshern" and no "Casshan".
Sins is awesome by the way, it's like the Mega Man Zero anime we never got. Ditto the original Casshern is like a Mega Man X anime, except in the 70s.

Man, I miss this game. Probably, the only fighting game I played on Wii. Too bad they never ported this on PS or XBOX. Anyway, this is still a cool game in my opinion.
If only Project X Zone was a crossover fighting game instead of the FFT style we get. Not that it wasn't bad either. Love me some inclusion of the REAL Mega Man X ultimate armor attack.

Can someone tell me what the hell Tatsunoko is? I never heard of those games.
They are not games. They are classic anime series from the 1960's that aired in japan. You've probably heard of at least one series from Tatsunoko which would be Speed Racer.
Oh they are anime. And well yeah I have heard of Speed Racer before.
I can watch dubs as long as they aren't butchered to appeal more to kids or have absolutely terrible voice acting. For the most part the English dubs are no worse than the Japanese dubs.
Hi, I speak both languages. For the most part the Japanese VA is SIGNIFICANTLY better than the English dub. There are exceptions, of course.
