A project I made for my class; this turned out way longer than required but that's the way it is hahah.
Made in honor of my own cats, and all the strays on my paper route.

I agree. If you're not aware this is part of a true trilogy of songs by John K Samson with and without the Weakerthans. The first being "Plea From a Cat Named Virtute" with the Weakerthans, then this song "Virtute the Cat Explains Her Departure" and "Virtute at Rest" as solo endeavors. The trilogy is made even better in my opinion if you include "17th Street Treatment Centre" from the album Winter Wheat which "Virtute at Rest" also resides on. Heartbreaking and yet empowering. We need a new word for that.
