The fullness of great means she's the greatest of greats
Adele give you pure, non-jazz Adele and Angelina gives you a true jazz
specialist. Personally, I don't feel a non-jazz singer, even one as great as
Adele, can match the emotional penetration to the furthest depths of the
human soul as Angelina is able to do. Being a 'vocal chameleon', she is
able to capture the essence of Adele but then adds the 'breathy', 'whisper
like', sensual inflections she learned from Billie Holiday. Not satisfied yet,
Angelina now goes to the furthest, opposite end of the jazz spectrum where
Amy Winehouse reigned as the most uniquely different jazz singer of all time.
Here she brings the 'slurring' of words (for added effect) that Amy would do,
as well as the radical 'key' changes Amy was famous for. Combine it all with
Angelina's natural style and you have what comes across as four superstar
singers in one one song. Have never heard another singer do something this
intricately complex in a song. I'll add that all this was completed within three
days of first hearing Adele's original. I'm not overstating it when I say this girl
is a musical genius in the area of singing and arranging.
The piano player is Rob Christie. Rob is the studio manager for Republic Records and one of AJ’s biggest fans. He is super talented in his own right.

As a child, she sang like a teenager, as a teenager she's singing like a grown woman. What's next? Angelina is a real live prodigy that we get to witness.
Nobody can match her. I've been listening to her for about a year now and in my 69 years I have not heard anyone anywhere near as capable of doing justice to any genre she choose to tackle. Everything she has originated or covered sounds wonderful. I will be a lifelong fan and consider her to be the GOAT.I believe that she will in time be known as that!

Good to see you back! Angelina said as soon as she heard this song, she knew she had to sing it. Within a few hours she had posted a short clip on tic tok, or instagram, and in less than two weeks she had this full studio version! Gives me chills every time I listen to it.

I have now heard this song well over one hundred times. I’ve heard Adele’s version once. The reason being that whenever Angelina covers Adele’s songs I prefer her rendition. Other people try to cover Adele’s songs. Angelina takes ownership of them.
I imagine Adele waking every morning, checking RUclips and when she sees Angelina has covered another of her songs, saying “Oh no! Not again.”

True, you know what's so revealing about this video and Angelina in general. Of course the first time someone listens to this they are pleasantly surprised and can hardly believe how wonderful Angelina is. BUT, herein comes the unbelievable part. Someone can listen to this as many times as they want and the feeling they get will never wear off!
True, it's her! The music is great. Her musical contribution is like no one else's. And, then ,it's her! We feel her love in our hearts and it will never wear off. I hear other great artists sing songs which can be regarded as classics and are very much appreciated by me. But when the song ends, I move on. Not with Angelina. She is singing to me. She is singing to you. She is singing FOR ALL HUMANITY and very soon everyone in the world will know who Angelina Jordan is. What is going on? She is most comfortable in her life when she is singing. Her soulful voice with an outpouring of love touches people and it begins a process of whereby those people become more aware of what it is to be nice to one another. We can take it up another notch. How about to love one another?
Armies, politics and cultural differences do not even come to close to what Angelina is beginning to make all of us believe in. Creating a love between people in every corner of the Earth is the first step, the most important step to making the world a better place to live.

Typically what makes it better is her ability to express true and believable emotion over and above what is typical of most singers. Nobody can totally figure it out but it is fact. I love the ability that Angelina had to immerse herself in the soul of the song, with her usual naturalness and I appreciated her unique and fascinating way of modifying Adele's version, modifying it according to her perspective as a great multiform interpreter which she is. I also love the way she wanted to reassure us about her grandmother's health (she had just had an operation) and she did it with infinite delicacy and sweetness, their heads side by side as if to counterbalance the emotional detachment that Adele writes about in the song. She plays the piano and the guitar, she sings jazz, blues, old soul and even hip hop, she has already composed 3 songs, music and lyrics arrangements, and she has done several covers of different singers, she has a unique voice, a perfect control of her voice, runs, riffs and many other musical specificities, she is nicknamed the Barefoot Princess, and that's even the story of her book in which she tells this story, she has already raised 20 million dollars for neglected children, her grandmother is a Norwegian artist, and Angelina, holds a microphone since she was 1 and a half years old, she listened to a lot of jazz, old soul singers, that her grandmother made her listen to because that's what she liked. She makes these covers, she appropriates them. and it's beautiful. She was also at Americain got talent the Champions, she sang her version of Bohemian Rapsody by Queen. Adele creates very beautiful songs and performs them just as great. Angelina said Adele is one of her inspirations: her covers of Adeles songs are something special. I enjoy both, but Angelina’s a little better: her voice is warmer and richer to me and it hits me much more.
That little zig-zag-line is one of my favorites as well. The whole performance is just amazing. Can’t wait for her album to appear after she has taken all the time she needs to finish it to her satisfaction :-)

Well there is none better, that is the truth, and there are none more versatile than Angelina. There are probably many that would argue that point but we know and accept the truth of it. And you are right Angelina is a potential problem for a number of divas in the entertainment industry. Angelina is dangerous to many of the most popular female singers in the industry. I think many are shaking in their boots, Angelina represents loss of jobs, loss of gigs, loss of income to many, possibly even loss of popularity, think about it. You have to ask yourself why isn’t Angelina being played on the radio, and why are television performances practically nonexistent? Angelina is so beyond the current singing entertainers offered for public consumption, I see this as a real possible struggle for Angelina to overcome. There are a lot of jealous people in the entertainment industry.
If Angelina is stifled in any way from her born purpose and talent it would be criminal, a catastrophe. But I’m just saying it could happen and I think it has already started.
PS. Her supernatural talent may turn out to be quite a hindrance to her career, I hope they do not keep her on the edge of main stream Entertainment like a distant orbiting satellite singer, because that is where she’s at right now, but she deserves to be the center of the entertainment solar system, she deserves to be the SUN 🌞 Illuminating her glorious essence upon all in that solar system. SHE IS THE GODDESS OF SONG. When you hear her sing it’s as if she invented it, it’s like she’s telling you, this is how you do it, this is what music is supposed to sound like, the music is her, and she is music and all the Inner emotions. She is the goddess of love and music and I mean that in a very literal way.

Angelina is not really in competition with "singers", there are lots and lots of really good singers. Angelina is a Master Class vocal artist unlike has been heard in decades. She is fire indeed. 🔥 I just don't think Adele is able to do this version whit anything close to Angelinas emotion, warmth and subtlety. Adele is a very good singer, but she can't match the sound and abilities of Angeklna that makes Angelina so special. Anyone can prefer whoever they like. But noone I know of can touch Angelina at her thing.
