This looks very similar to the new Mac Elite 1600 scan tool. Also made by launch, but works on all makes and models. The mac version also has lifetime updates, and right out of the box it works on 2024 Hondas, it would scan Toyota and Lexus, but none of the service functions worked. Even the electric parking brake service said it wasn’t an available feature even though it was. I loved the tool and it worked great on Hondas, but I specifically need one for all makes/models when we get used cars in on trade.

@@BCautosolutionsretracting the calipers is easy just remove the 2 bolts for the motor and spin the caliper manually and put the motor back on. Ive done it one mereces, jeeps cadillacs and infinitis lol you wont break it. It seems they all use motors built by the same manufacturer or something
Anyone know if this bad boy will reprogram/calibrate the TPS on a 2002 CRV? I tried our shop's SnapOn Solus and it wouldnt auto ID it and it didnt have the reset listed once manually connected.

Would this help with “torque sensor neutral position memorization” I have to replace a eps unit on my Acura tsx and that’s part of the process, I cant use the warranty extension that covers the tl’s and tsxs electric power steering cause of my rebuilt title.
Honda and Acura although you can download other manufacturers onto there. I’ll check on the oil reset tomorrow but I believe you can use the scan tool itself.

Besides ive been riding motorcycles my entire life, last time i checked they didn't make you wear a seatbelt... finally !! .. i can now for first time see misfire counts by cylinder even in my 07 ridgeline! what a bargain.. now 119.. i own bluedriver and actron 250 dollar scan tool.. no comparison!
I've tried scan tools such as the Autel MX808S or Xtool D7 and there are items that don't work properly on Hondas. For example, live graphing an upstream O2 sensor doesn't work properly because the graph scale is so far off it can only ever show a straight horizontal line (and why does Honda return values using miliamps?). Bidirectional control is either limited or doesn't work. Values for something like a MAF will be garbage. These lower end Chinese made devices have similar issues, which leads me to believe use a common code base. Poor software engineering and testing... BTW, X431 Elite for Honda doesn't seem to be available in Canada. That would make the only option importanting from the USA, which increases the price and makes support/returns more difficult.
This is true although the fact the you can do simple yet money saving tasks such as seat weight sensor programming. Steering angle sensor programming, rear e brake maintenance mode, and key programming is about all the average diyer will need. If you want a bi directional tool or live data tool to use often I would recommend something much more expensive. Thanks for sharing your thought 👍🏻
I purchased the unit and played with it for an hour. The AF sensor graphing has the same issue as other manufacturers. The values bounce between -0.05 to +0.05, but scale goes to 1.0, so you pretty much get a straight line. And the graph axis can't be scaled. These scanners seem to be all Chinese made. I'd bet they're all using the same software base and therefore have the same bugs.

You can’t beat it for the price. For me alone having the ability to retract the calipers and program your own keys will pay for itself in one repair.
