- Six Feet Under dropped their 2nd single Ascension from their new album Killing For Revenge. Was this a stronger effort than the previous single Know Nothing Ingrate? Do the vocals sound like they should? Their is only one way to find out...

off time is their time ...this tune is sick!
WAY better than the abortion of the last album. ha
I couldn't help but notice especially since everything else was on point to the metronome
@@JamesGreen-bf4jy I agree it's a much stronger effort
Not a big Six feet under fan.... but this is a twisted tune.
Its good!
Its definitely the best Chris has sounded for years and I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks for watching and the comment. Cheers!

I didn't like the last single but i actually dig this newest one.
I think this track is better as well. I'm interested in hearing what the rest of this album sounds like.
“Blood from blood and blood for blood…”
Poetry lol
I actually like this song. Might have to grow out my dreads to celebrate.
Right on. It's not a terrible song. Hopefully the more you listen the longer your hair gets. Thanks for watching and leaving the comment. Cheers
I liked it but I'd rather listen to other stuff. Not bad but didn't blow me away. I'm also tired of the random noise solos. Been hearing those since 1986.
I agree dude. It's more middle of the road. I was hoping for a little bit more and the solo wasn't needed. They could of added more vocals
I liked the effect of the wah, it topped off the epic chaotic freight train blast beat section with an unnatural and almost horrific sounding solo. It's as if I've walked into the shed and was taking in the gruesome scene around me.
I get what you're saying the "chaos" guitar solo works in metal. I personally would have went a different direction. More like Ralph Santolla in Deicide. I think a melodic approach would have been more epic imo
Probably some riffs that Glen and Steve rejected
That's kind of what I thought. Especially considering what Jack said about leaving Deicide.
Jack Owen wrote most of record so the music should be killer!
The music is fantastic. I need to change my perspective a bit and enjoy the music for what it is. Thanks for watching and the comment
Cheers!
I liked everything but the wah on the solo. Kind of out of place for a blast beat song.
I agree. The feel of the solo section was super epic. I was kind of expecting more.
Better than your favorite bsnd...5 finger donkey punch😂😂😂😂
Better than 55DP? Probably lol
Big show?
I dont know what you mean?
If he did not have ALL-STAR recruits???Combined with such elite musicians? It is almost like cheating.... Talk about the best line-up to polish poop... Not bad but his name has got the best backing... Chris can at best finger paint vocally at best BUT it you enlist the best painters??? Then it is going to carry Chris"s limp corpse of an attempt to stay in the game when most 90(s) vocalists had some dignity and walked out!
I can see where you are coming from, and I agree to a certain extent. Chris may not be the best in the game, but he definitely has earned the right to record music as we all do. However, if it wasn't for his legacy, we wouldn't be listening to this for the vocals at all. I'm a fan of all members of this band and their various projects and prefer those over SFU. Thanks for watching and the comment. Cheers!
