THANK YOU! I aligned the cartridge the way you showed and it pulled right out!! Some guy was selling a tool JUST to do this 😂😂😂😂.

Great video! The videos for this faucet are as hard to find as the faucet itself!

Dammit my water is so freaking hard that it seems like it has seized the cartridge to the faucet housing area! I have tried using vinegar and twisting the cartridge back and forth many times to no avail. I am trying to put lots of force into it but it seems like it isn't moving at all.. What am I missing?

I’m not sure. I would keep trying the vinegar around the edge of the cartridge against the internal surfaces of the water pipe. It could take several applications of vinegar over many days to gradually dissolve the hard water deposits if that is actually what is causing the issue.

Drain the water faster by running your outside hose to drain system.

That only really works if the outside hose is at or below the level of the faucet you are working on. In my case the faucet is in a basement utility room and all outside hose bibs are at least 8 feet above the faucet, so this won’t work for me. But it might help if your faucet is above the height of the hose bib. Hopefully though you can just shut off the water at the shutoff valves underneath the sink and you don’t have to shut off water to the whole house. Anyway thanks for commenting.

What about the o-rings? Do they come with the cartridge?

@jmb874: The cartridge comes with exactly what I show in the video. The o-ring on the cartridge came with the cartridge.

Detailed video. I have one issue... at the beginning. The handle won't come off. It seems to catch on the back side opposite the handle. Have you ever had that issue? That catch you spoke about when you reassembled the handle seems to be the issue, but I can't get it to pull off. Any ideas?

@jaybrubaker3029: I have not had that issue. If the handle doesn’t come off when you hold the neck and lift it into the on position, try removing the handle in the off or closed position, or try lifting the handle and removing it when it is turned to the cold side or the hot side. Perhaps it is just catching or there is some mineral buildup or something causing it to stick.

i CAN'T get the handle off. Feels like something is holding it on from inside. The dome screws off easily and the handle is loose but won't pop off. I'm afraid to break it.

Sometimes it just needs to be jiggled just right…. Try some different motions and angles with gentle pressure.
