How to Cook and EAT the Best Artichokes in the Instant Pot ~ Easy Cooking

- In this easy cooking video, I show you how to cook and eat a jumbo artichoke in the Instant Pot electric pressure cooker. I simply trimmed the stems of the artichokes and put them in the Instant Pot with 3 cups of water. Then I cooked them on the pressure cook setting for 20 minutes and allowed the pressure to release naturally on it's own. The total time in the pot was 65 minutes.

Wow I never knew that you could eat an artichoke like that. I only knew about the hearts. Can't wait to try this.
I grew up eating them a lot, living only an hour from the artichoke capital of the world, Watsonville, CA. We ate them just like you do with mayo. They are so delicious.

My Nona would stuff Italian seasoned bread crumbs and Parmesan between the leaves and bake them with some water in the bottom of the pan. Sicilian.

My Mom and I just love artichokes and asparagus cold. Try it with Mayo/olive oil/Balsamic vinegar and mix it together.

It guess it can be either one. I just look for the one's that look pretty fresh, not dry and wilted.
