    Hi guys,
The book launched four days ago and the support from this community has been unbelievable.
Thank you to each and everyone of you who ordered.
Your support doesn’t go unnoticed. It truly is life changing for me.
I’m already getting so many positive messages from so many of you who binged it (some of you in just a few hours!), and it’s just the best.
Alrigthty, here is a podcast I did about a month ago in Montreal with my best friend and co-writer of Talk To Strangers, Mr. Derin Emre.
Derin is just the best. He doesn’t hold back and in this one we go into where we went after leaving Yes Theory, what it was like tackling such a daunting project together, and our honest opinions about the book.
Prepare yourself for one hell of an honest and hilarious conversation.
    Love you all!

Matt and Derin, I think you guys leaving Yes Theory is the true embodiment of Yes Theory, because you both said YES to yourselves first, as uncomfortable as it was because it meant disappointing not only the team but also all the fans who love you. Staying true to yourself and the path most aligned with you can be very uncomfortable, but it's where the best most authentic life is. Thank you both, amazing podcast!

As a recent discoverer of Yes Theory I haven't read the book, but I think Derin was the perfect person to help with the book, as he was there during the beginning and knows Matt. Having stepped away a few years before, he had the right amount of distance as well to be objective.

hey matt i read the book and SO well written. it made me ugly cry SO HARD in some parts. you made your pain really come trough but also your joy. i also didn't expect how funny sometimes the writing can be . you can tell you guys put alot of thought and were very smart in cutting the "fat" of the story. almost like a movie script (makes sense since daron writes scripts). good job and enjoy your rest!

I was a bit surprised by the shortness of the last chapter! I could have easily had 100 pages more 😄

So interesting to hear Derin’s point of view. I think it is great Matt that you asked Derin to help you with the book. Double closure for both you on your adventure with yes theory. What I see foremost is your sincere friendship. To be able to speak up the truth to someone, to be able to trust that person, that is a beautiful adventure in itself. Waiting for my book! Maybe I’ll meet you in Montreal someday! Wish you all the best in your future projects to both of you guys!

The book is an absolute triumph, three pages in and I had made a business plan for the next three months, by the time I finished it I was already deep in the hustle, and I haven’t stopped since, my life has looked completely different for the last week since finishing the book. It was indeed the spark I needed.
Thank you for your dedicated work, it’s without doubt one of the most motivating and beautiful books ever, way more interesting, inspiring and emotional than anything else in the self-help section.
    Bravo gentlemen, bravo ❤🙏🏼

I didn't start watching Yes Theory until after Derin had already left and it's super interesting to get to understand his personality a little bit from this video. He's a very interesting guy but honestly, he seems soooo much different from the other three of you. It's just cool that he's come in and out of Yes Theory at just the right times to help.

Love this open and direct conversation between you two! I've been wondering about this behind the doors to Yes Theory and I think Derin explained it so well from his perspective of why it doesn't fit for everyone and why it's okay. I also like how he views seeking discomfort - that it doesn't have to mean skidiving every day. I think I understand much better now your reasons for leaving. Great episode! Looking forward to receive the book already! All the best Matt for the journey ahead and enjoy the well-deserved rest!

Congratulations to you both! Derin, I hope you got out of your comfort zone and celebrated a little bit 😉 Loved hearing about all the behind the scenes of writing the book together, what an accomplishment. It was lovely meeting you both at the Montreal book meet up, such a wholesome evening🥰 Impatiently waiting for my copy to arrive and dive in😊

Thank you Matt, thank you Derin for your honesty and for living the life you desire. I just read Tao te king from Lao Tseu, maybe you have it Derin. If not, let's open these pages that bring so much energy! I am happy to be able to read yours soon. Just waiting for it to cross the ocean ! Take care

It's kind of funny to hear Derin speculating about Einstein's wife, since Mileva Maric Einstein was actually the one who did a lot of the math behind his revolutionary papers. really encourage folks to go learn about her story!

I wrote a book about hockey in North Korea after going there a few times. I never meant to write it but the entire experience was so unreal, I had to do it. It took me two years and it was by far the hardest thing I have ever done. So so so hard!
