God, she's 26!! She looks and sounds so mature. I love her, she's a wonderful actress!! Incredible voice too indeed, didn't expect that :) oh and I'm always mistaken her with Michelle Williams !
Man, I had forgotten how much David had stepped into it when talking about Michael... Where did he get that impression?!? Weird. No wonder we haven't seen Michael on the channel since...
Yeah, he talked about it in his interview with Sarah Paulson for «12 Years a slave» and said that Michael Fassbender was really mad with him for saying this
@InternetLawman au contraire, what happened was from this to Drive. This is her real voice, the one she's always used...She rather molded it to fit her role in the movie.
To give him the benefit of the doubt, he might mean, explain how it relates to the specific context, i.e.; exactly what kind of direction, does 'do better' mean?
I agree with babyboosabz. I notice this diff in ppl from different cultures. North-American culture way of interaction/talking etc is just not as real or forthcoming. This diff is subtle in a way n ppl who have experienced another culture can understand it more . Some European and Asian cultures have a warmth and down to earth quality. It does not mean a distinction between good and bad but just one way of interaction is more real, down to earth & warm n actresses u ve cited don't ve that.
sorry I think you are terribly wrong, did you see "an education" or maybe, metro scene in shame with michael fassbender only this scene is a truly masterpiece of art,, some peoples call naturalness ....... (sorry my english is too bad) , but you can reply if you like I can understand
It's dificult being an actor for me this art put these people in a pedestal that no one can reach, the feelings that i have from this are wild, spechless and yes took my breathe away but how can you repress a feeling a woman's feeling ? They are actors and an actor expose himself and reach thata human being can't achieve you can talk about their bodies, about nothing what' is beautiful should be seeing as an art, and an acid feeling when mets raw meet is perverse but exist i don't talk but i feel, i see this throught a window and my window was broken in the arrows od despair there's nothing to loose, but anwsers to awsenred the prison of one is the freedon of others. Alexandra " Sasha" Bretegny when asked what Shame means to her.
+MegaDogsofwar, Oh you like it Michael is wild, this lady in the a blue eyed, full liped brown haired woman is too an angel fallen from the sky he don't regret what he did, she's too, she's dangerous in the most unsafe way.
@@burpie3258 It's about a novel about another couple of bother and sister who felt damaged by shame and decide to revenge of the movie ridiculizing the whole history. Because they can't deal with their own sexuality and their parents failed marriaged. Both are famous musicians and the brother use the sister to made this reveange in a very coaward way using her child trauma.

Listen to just about any actor speaking and you will hear it. I find it very rude - when I'm not doing my job I leave it behind. I don't impose my skills in electronics on anybody else.
I love her husky voice! Class
She's the best and most beautiful actress to come along in a while. I love Carey Mulligan and the film choices she's made.
She's beautiful, great at what she does, and picks very interesting movies. Love her. And her haircut here (same as mine :) )
I could listen to Carey Mulligan talk for hours
her voice is so strong here..but she sounds so soft on great gatsby
She is such an overlooked actress.
This conversation reveals such a natural side to her personality...and a slight bit of shyness. Thank you for this❗❗❗
God, she's 26!! She looks and sounds so mature. I love her, she's a wonderful actress!! Incredible voice too indeed, didn't expect that :) oh and I'm always mistaken her with Michelle Williams !
Omgg!!you're my spirit animal!!I totally thought she looks familiar with Michelle!!!
Holy shit i didn't know how deep her voice was and that she had an accent, very minimal though
Not really, it's full on British.
Nice interviews, as always, seen this before but wanted to revisit it. I am always impressed with her maturity and loveliness.
her beauty is distribute from her wise, she is my favorite actress in the world!!
Whoever loved that loved not at first sight
She is a British Lauren Bacall. I love her as an actress!
Just realized how many movies I've seen her in: pride n prejudice, never let me go, an education, drive, shame, and waiting for the great gatsby....
I could listen to her and Claudia Black all day everyday. I wish they would read audiobooks. ♥
she looks and sounds absolutely stunning in this.
she always looks so vulnerable
Stunningly beautiful, great interview and video quality.
Shes a wonderful actress and its great that shes getting alot of work.
Carey Mulligan is flawless!!!
stunningly beautiful. love her lips and accent😍😍
wow her voice
I wish she could have joined in with Steve and Michael's DP interview! Thank you though, Shame was fantastic!
its interesting seeing her talk after seeing drive and shame and its interesting how different she is a testament to her great acting
So pretty and elegant.
YES! My sentiments as well. She sent me running for Michelle Williams!
She's so gorgeous
love carey, amazing actress, cant wait to see Great Gatsby
She is so sweet,I like her.
BEAUTIFUL
Brilliant! :D
she's ridiculously cute
Her smile is very different to her deep voice!
@InternetLawman Her voice has always been like this. She changes it for roles.
Shes soooooo cute. I

Yeah, he talked about it in his interview with Sarah Paulson for «12 Years a slave» and said that Michael Fassbender was really mad with him for saying this
Yeah, I didn't remember it being this strong. Her reaction was amazing, though! She's great. 20:55
@InternetLawman au contraire, what happened was from this to Drive. This is her real voice, the one she's always used...She rather molded it to fit her role in the movie.
The thumbnail for this video is incredible.
She has wonderful and Variety face 😊
There are a few actress I consider to be goddesses Monica Bellucci, Isabelle Adjiani, Kate Winslet, Melanie Laurent etc and Carey is one of them.
God she's classy.
If you spend time around actresses you learn when they are doing it. Just listen for the background "rumble" in the speech - that's it.
Fucking hell she's gorgeous.
the documentary he is talking about is about Sally mann; what remains, I think it's called
ACTRESS
"Her voice is full of money." :)
nice
She's so down to earth, lovely to listen to. & this is my favorite interviewer by far, what is his name?
SHAME IS THE BEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN.
MICHAEL FASSBENDER IS THE BEST ACTOR EVER.
Carey's not bad either.
He's not generalizing, he's speaking in general. Big difference.
goddess
Strange, I never knew this was a special chest tone you learn in acting classes.
To give him the benefit of the doubt, he might mean, explain how it relates to the specific context, i.e.; exactly what kind of direction, does 'do better' mean?
Now Interviewing Carey Mulligan with "Mr. Derp"
"hEE-HaW"

In my opinion she is good, very good for her age even, but she still has some way to go to be considered A Really Great Actress (TM).
sorry I think you are terribly wrong, did you see "an education" or maybe, metro scene in shame with michael fassbender only this scene is a truly masterpiece of art,, some peoples call naturalness ....... (sorry my english is too bad) , but you can reply if you like I can understand
@InternetLawman
i think she just woke up a while b4 the interview..
you;re talking about Sally Mann's photos of her kids.
It's a pretty classic public school accent
Sally Sparrow
yass!
wish i could marry her !
who is this lady??
Are they though? Look at the interview with Micheklli Williams or Natalie Portman for example.
in Drive she was acting
what is the 'hotbutton'?
voice...
i love you lol shshshshhsshhhahaaaaa
I'm not talking about the poshness; I'm very familiar with that in most of the girls I know. It is the tone that is only imparted by drama school.
She never attended drama school; incredibly, she was rejected by all three to which she had applied.
You sound incredibly pretentious

Not amazing, but she'd get it.
um?
She look kind of pissed in this video. Good interview, though.
No?
Sally fucking Sparrow
Omg she looks like a child, but close your eyes and you’d think it’s a mature woman in her 40s or 50s…
Listen to just about any actor speaking and you will hear it. I find it very rude - when I'm not doing my job I leave it behind. I don't impose my skills in electronics on anybody else.
LMAO you find a vocal tone rude? get over yourself
It's a voice they all learn at acting school. I find it super-irritating when they think it is ok to use off-stage.
Um it's just their chest voice, and it's 'ok' to use it anytime. They don't need your permission.
No, I'm not talking about the accent - I'm talking about the horribly exaggerated chest tone.
in what universe is it horribly exaggerated. god damn i hope you've learned after 7 years
