I remember when I was younger I had a Bible topic book and when it talked about anxiety not once did any of the scriptures have this one verse that you read. And I sure wish it did.
This makes total sense to me.

"He will keep you safe." -- God
"But what if I get sick, or persecuted, or fired from my job?"
Good question! GOD still has you safe in his will (if you're obeying the first part of the passage).
Sick? God will either miraculously heal you, or else he will build your character (if you allow it).
Persecuted? God will increase your rewards in Heaven (if you forgive your persecutors).
Fired? No worries! God will always provide for the needs of his generous saints.
No matter the trial, God will keep you safe!
See Proverbs 19:23
and 1 Peter 5:7

Christianity has set back mental health in untold ways, inflicting incredible amounts of misery. YOU sir are practicing medicine without a license. Anxiety can have physiological or significant mental health origins, but you Christians are always "Oh, just have more faith. Read your bible more. Pray more." But the person may need LICENSED medical intervention. Just stop addressing stuff that's not in your lane.
2 Timothy 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind
Matthew 6:33 - But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
I’ve never heard a good pastor advise against licensed medical intervention. In fact, my pastors just this week had a licensed therapist in service talking about mental health, and even the need for medicine in some instances. So, you’re wrong, but that’s ok.
