The hypocrisy of Nina in this story absolutely baffles me. And the fact that OP’s parents are taking his sister’s side and pleading for OP not to testify is disgraceful when THEY didn’t even fight for OP, and even forgiving his sister. All three of them deserve to go back to the pit of hell they came from and never try to contact OP again.

No hypocrisy here, just one cheating 304 supporting another cheating 304.
If anything, OP should ask his father to do a paternity test on him and his sister, as there seems to be a trend with the women of the family to cheat and then try to pin the paternity on the husband.

It's not born while the parents are married tho - you don't set child support on a child that hasn't even drawn breath yet.
Divorce and custody/child support cases are separate.
Maybe if the mother was so far along that she looked like a beached whale the judge might do both cases together, but if the mother was not even showing the judge ain't gonna do jack to slow the divorce because a child that hasn't been born has no legal entitlements beyond those determined under abortion laws.
Also pre natal paternity test can be conducted to prove beyond any doubt if he is the father from as early as the first trimester, and once he is found not to be any opposition to the prenup terms would dissolve.

Perjury is very seldomly prosecuted. Even for criminal trials with blatant lies.
      From a newspaper article:
"During an interview about his 2011 book, Tangled Webs: How False Statements Are Undermining America, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist James B. Stewart said: “No one keeps statistics for perjury and false statements -- lies told under oath or to investigative and other agencies of the U.S. government -- even though they are felonies punishable by up to five years in prison. There is simply too much of it, and too little is prosecuted to generate any meaningful statistics.”
A University of Michigan Law School investigation found about half of the 1,900 wrongful convictions overturned in the United States since 1989 were caused by false allegations or perjury in court. Yet even the most egregious lies in court are seldom prosecuted, according to legal experts."

So obviously Nina is the golden child, no surprises there, or that she cheated.
I just think OP lost a perfectly good oportunity to be petty and spiteful towards Suzie. Imagine this, you ask for visits on weekends, upstage the mother on birthdays, Christmas, vacations, reward good behavior and grades with videogames, toys, etc. You rubb it in that she cannot afford any of that, how she lost it all for her cheating but her child gets it so she has a constant reminder. You are also the more relaxed parent, not indulging or spoiling, but you have the kid on weekends and every other vacation so there's no school, no homework, no bedtime therefore you're basically the cool parent by default. And she can do nothing about it, what is she gonna say in court? _Your Honor, he is treating my child as his own and giving them a loving home away from me, even though it's not his child_
If the topic about us not living toguether comes around OP could give an age appropriate response, give the child proof that he is not the father and deflect all questions about the father, except what Suzie told him or he saw on the messages, then just let her deal with it. Again, what is she gonna do about it? OP could even fight for custody when the kid is around 14 or 15 y/o and he has a new spouse, the child could be convinced to say they want to go live with OP, OP says that he has grown attached to the child and wants to have him with him 24/7, and the fact he stops paying child support because of this is just a completely coincidental bonus.

  • @DocMartn253
    @DocMartn253 10 дней назад

OP is a moron. First he was too stupid to not get undeniable proof of his wife's infidelity before confronting her and moving forward with a divorce. Any married man knows that if you are going to leave your spouse based on her infidelity and want to not have to be responsible for her financially after the divorce, you have to have proof that she has broken her vows.
The second mistake he made is divorcing her during the pregnancy after finding how she was pregnant. That was the second opportunity at being able to get undeniable proof that she was cheating and be able to remove himself from any responsibility for that child. This also falls on his lawyer for being a moron as well.
The third mistake he's making is not legally stalking, and serving the actual father with the summons to be DNA tested in family court. The states that go after husbands regardless of DNA connection to the child, most of them are willing to transfer that responsibility to the actual father if you're able to get the father served. He doesn't show up to court and avoids the courts, a lot of the times they will make him the father by default because they're assuming he's the one trying to escape responsibility. The fact that he didn't utilize other options after the marriage ended, let you know that he is the type to just roll over and take it in a metaphorical and physical sense.
And the forth mistake that he is currently making is not taking all of the transcripts from his sister's court case and appealing his child support. He now has proof that the woman that was the key factor in determining his current circumstances, practices the same type of manipulative and deceitful actions as the woman she was protecting who was also her best friend. If the original judge that gave him this order is still serving, they would have to overturn it or there is room for them to be disbarred.
But regardless of how slow this dude is... and clearly this dude is slower than pond water in January with molasses in it. But regardless of that, you have to acknowledge that the court systems in America are disgusting when it comes to how they do not acknowledge fathers as anything other than a wallet. Why should a man have to fight for 50% custody for a child that they are 50% responsible for creating. I can understand child support for inactive fathers, but why are fathers who have their children a majority of the time or at least half of the time, still have to pay child support? Why is it not automatically set that if custody is split 50/50, your responsible for the child when they're in your possession and all major expenses are split? You want to know why? Because most mothers in these situations are using the system to screw over the Father because of their bitterness over the relationship ending and their unwillingness to accept that man moving on. It's because most mothers want to maintain some level of control over the father. It's because the court system wants another avenue to bring in money for doing minimal work and it's so that they haven't excuse to incarcerate law-abiding citizens and force them into incarceration and servitude if the father doesn't have the means to pay for the child and mother's livelihood on top of their own.
This statement alone is the reason why so many men are going red pill. Me myself, I've been told I've fallen the purple pill area because I see good points and horrible points from both sides. But when men are faced with this being one of the potential consequences of marriage, you really can't blame them for looking at you guys like the enemy. Especially when the vast majority of women fall to the dark side whenever a relationship ends and children are involved.

That's why you NEVER give a cheater any chance or take that cheating human back into your life.
About the quite frankly unreasonable demand of the court possible explanation is stated below:
State will not provide for the child, if you're the husband in any means when the child is born you are the legal father. Unless bio father VOLUNTARILY contest parenthood and guardianship you are in for 18 years. Most EU countries are like this (many of the states in US are also same). France is even stricter you cannot check paternity unless mandatory court order, it is illegal to check for paternity privately. The catch is you cannot get a court order unless "REASONABLE" doubt or mother of the child consent it.
If you think state as human being or a corporation, you'll see he/she/they has no incentive to provide for extra 2 mouths when a scapegoat is present also by taking child support state gains a new source of income. Nothing personal just business, the eventual cost maybe collapsing of Western Anglo-Saxon plus Judeo-Christian (specially social) values and functioning social structure. But who care as long as the money gets flowing.

My brother had a similar situation. He dated a woman who was in the midst of a divorce she got pregnant but halfway through revealed that the baby mjnght not be my brother's cuz there where 2 other guys she had seen while they had been dating. Fast forward to after the baby was born my broyher and her had broken up not to long before the birth cuz he was sick of being her sugar daddy and her going out and openly still hooking up with the other guys. She put my brother on the birth certificate but he wouldn't signed with out a paternity test. She tried to get him to date her again and he said only with certain rules which basically consisted of she couldnt fool around and he wasnt going to pay for all her bills and her 3 other kids while she uses her money to party. She wasn't ok with that and kicked him out. She then filed for child support saying he abandoned them. He said he'd pay if he could be in the kids life. She said no cuz he "already has a dad now and is better off with out you." Bro then tells child services that he's more then willing to pay child support if he gets a paternity test proving the kid is his. Child support told him that even tho he didn't sign, his name is on the birth certificate so it's his responsibility. He said again he'd only agree after a paternity test is done. They then told him he can't request one. Only the mother and her husband can. Even with a different man on the birth certificate, she was still technically married to her ex husband and when the baby was born and thus the baby was legally the husband's so only the husband or her could request a test. But at the same time my brkthet was legally responsible for child support because his name was on the birth certificate, even though the child wasn't legally his because she was married. It was all crazy confusing
