Now there's a huge scandal on how doctor David Sinclair tricked the pharmaceutic company GSK to sell them his patent on resveratrol 720M$... before they found out it didn't work. The worry is that these NAD boosting effects are transient in a a sense and homeostatic processes may bring these to baseline over time. This is why we need to consider more and look beyond point in time bio markers and be considering the pharmacokinetic effects. A logical next step here might be approaching the relationship between epigenetics and NAD levels. Thoughts?

Hi Bryan. You have to be careful with how you use the word ‘effective’. There are already dozens of clinical studies that have shown that taking NAD+ boosting supplements leads to increased levels of NAD+ in the body. Crucially, however, collectively these clinical trials have also shown that - over the time period tested - NAD+ supplementation has no significant health benefits in healthy humans. I am a scientist at the University of Cambridge, UK and am in the process of putting together a review of the entire scientific literature on NAD+ boosting supplements. Its about a long term use...we also know that a cocktail of compounds is better than taking them alone. I am not a fan of NAD+ but I love all the new research on it.

You should check out the proprietary small molecule we licensed that’s been shown to be superior in studies to NMN and NAD supplementation. Currently we are formulating it for skin and scalp, where it has greatest effect, but may be a supplement form eventually.

The levels of NAD is measured in blood but this cofactor/coenzyme works inside the cell. On the other side upper levels of NAD can stimulate CD38 which can consume NAD more as a vicious cycle

Well, Byran which one are you taking now and how much do you take a day and does it keep you awake in any way does it affect your ability to sleep? I know you have perfect sleep and you stop everything by 11 AM.
I wish I could do some of the things you’re doing, but my body just is not letting me do it. I have a lot of health problems. And I’ve been a vegan and a vegetarian and now I’m a pescatarian much of my life. Of course I did smoke cigarettes and I did drink alcohol, so I’m no saint and I used to eat meat but I don’t anymore. Just fish now.
I also don’t like lentils, so I depend on hemp tofu, and Pea protein For the protein, my body needs.
I don’t eat a ton of protein. I try to eat organic as much as possible.
And I am doing some of the things you do but I live in a very limited budget about $1000 a month that’s for everything! So it’s pretty difficult to do all the stuff you do but I’m gonna sell my stuff and save a ton of money and start to do more things. I’m going to try stem cells. Maybe I’ll go see doctor KONG she seems to be pretty together regarding stem cells.
Thanks for everything you do. I tell people about you as much as I can and hope that they check you out and make sure they spell your name correctly that with an o but with an a.
Thanks for everything you’re doing and I keep watching and learning from you and I thank you for that.

@@PuciuHenzap Many people seem to believe that because NMN was undergoing an investigation by the FDA, how to define that substance (drug, supplement,...) and saw how dr. Sinclair was involved in that. When Amazon decided to take it(the fake ones actually) down because of many fake products people were rioting and thinking there would be a ban of that and Sinclair just wants the money.
Turns out NMN came back without problems, or was never gone in the first place.
NAC was the exact same topic, nothing happened. People were just hyperbolic. You can buy it without problems. No prescription needed. One needs to stop the insane rumors. NMN will keep being available.

Thinking maybe a link in here somewhere might be helpful. I was able to research those two names with some difficulty. It sounds like from this short clip. It’s not going to matter which one I choose though only one of those two offers a test kit that can be used to determine whether or not what you’re doing is working so I suppose that would be Potentially the better of the two

Enada NADH is a good product also and affordable. People like to say NAD+ precursors are better than NADH but in reality your body easily converts between NADH and NAD+ as needed all the time, so I speculate this may even be better than a precursor.
