Yeah, that's because DJ-Rex used to be the star tours pilot back in 1987 until he was replaced by C-3PO. Even the lines he says when he is shutting down are the same lines when the ride ends back when he was the pilot.
It's really nice to see Rex return. I really liked his character and design so it broke my heart to see him pretty much neglected when they removed him from the original star tours attraction
I’m not sure that’s really the reason considering they have a time limit on how long you can be in the Cantina. They don’t want people sitting in a bar all day.
I didn't hear any Star Tours lines. As for Rex being used, that's great. Nice to see Disney hasn't just put him in storage. Sounds like they might have got Paul Reubens back to do the new dialog as well, unless it's someone that sounds like him. Love the whole layout of the location. Sadly, the noise level is way too loud. All you hear is white noise of voices. Sounds like it would get annoying on the ears fast.

it's not. just watched a blog where they got 2 drinks each (some got two alcoholic drinks, some 1 alcoholic 1 non, and one got a train (set of 4 beers) and another alcoholic drink so he technically got 5 drinks) so they dont limit to 1 each
Not really. Club 33 (originally) was the only place where alcohol was served. However, you had to be a member so...there's that. Just Walt never cared much for drinking in his park.
All the shouting and crowds look extremely overwhelming for someone with special needs such as someone with Autism or people who have a hard time with loud noises. The theming is out of this world. I love that they incorporated DJ Rex also.
Carlo Rufio I disagree. In the movie it is not a bunch of people raving and shouting. While there is a fight that breaks out the creatures and people in the bar in the movie are mostly sitting quietly enjoying their drinks. The intense shouting would scare or turn some people off in my opinion. My wife for example would not enjoy being in a place this loud.
@@josephhalderman UM, I never said this is in reference to the movie. This is also not the Mos Eisley cantina. I'm saying this is a bar. In the real world. Not only that, this is a very noisy obnoxious looking place, last time Disneyland had one of those, they had to shut it down for reasons most die hards know (Videopolis)
