Welcome to Episode 5 of "Episode Numbers Having No Meaning Because I Edited Them, Then Decided To Release Them In A Different Order". Hope you enjoy the vid!
@@toxicwaste225 it doesnt pierce armor, it is small and slick to fitin between the armor gaps, visors, beneath armpits and under neckguards, thighs so as to pierce the femoral artery
I made your original dragon build you mentioned in the video and it wrecks! Excited to try this haha! Your videos are so great please keep going and thanks!
I didn’t realize how recent these videos were put on RUclips but I’m so thankful that I found this because I just started a bandit class to get back into the game from when it first released, but I never finished my first play through as the prisoner, so this is actually gonna be really useful for me! Any other tips anyone could throw my way would be appreciated as well!
Most deaths are still from falling. Watch yer step! Real talk: stick to light/medium rolling as you try to learn boss movesets (and die a bunch). Duo can be slept, but Morgott and Fire giant are also affected by sleep, allowing for some beefy damage. I don’t hesitate to use the shackle, and very strong weapons like Death’s Poker. I don’t summon, but +10 mimic is still the duck’s nuts. -cheers!
Bandit class is triumphant ! It was my first choice for my first play through In my opinion it’s one of the best classes in the game I wanna see a new faith build!! Love the channel by the way Your intros are epic
Just finished my dragon communion run last night. First tried most bosses including Malenia. Those dragon spells are something else. Especially Dragon Maw.
Oooo so I ended up taking your arcane parry build to NG+7 awhile ago because I loved fighting Malenia so much I wanted to do it on NG+7, and I ran into the issue of Radagon/EB becoming increasingly annoying to fight when EB is immune to all statuses. My solution was to use blackflame blade; with the fast attacks from misericorde you can really start shredding through the HP bar , but I think Dragonmaw might be even better. Great video as always!
For anyone else who gets clapped whenever you try to parry, glintstone phalanx is amazing as the AoW on Misericorde to break poise, even in a non-int build. That plus Dragonmaw absolutely crushes most enemies
it is more efficient to put the bloody slash ash of war on your dagger. with the blood affinity you do about double the bleed buildup, which is faster for killing the dragon
May be useful to know; if you cant get blood blade early (due to low damage or wanting to play regionlocked), you can put bloody slash (from the fort haight knight) on the misericorde
I think using the assassins cerulean dagger wouldve been helpful here because it procs twice with the misericorde. I noticed that fp seemed to be a limiting factor when using dragonmaw, so being able to regen it that way may have made some of the fights easier, and possibly even scripted. Alternatively, you couldve just leveled mind more lol
Blood blade is crazy underrated. If you don’t mind the damage it does to you, it’s basically a better version of reduvia with way less fp and stamina consumption. Plus you can put it on a long weapon like the nagakiba and get both the projectile and blade to hit far more easily than with reduvia.
Margrit: *exists ThingsFishy's Bandit: and I took that personally. 😂 god the thought of a new character gunning it straight to storm veil to kick Margrit's ass is hilarious.
Mr. Thing you are top tier. Have you ever goofed around with lions claw or giant hunt? Those are some fun ashes especially when you use a big ol’ hammer in pvp lol
Why are you using seal for a starting class with no seals from the start? Also lack of shortbows use even if they're bad you should find out some good use for them like inflicting status efects
Honestly, "Parry Malenia and punish with Big Spell™ or Big AoW™" has become the only way I ever fight her anymore. It's proven to be my favorite and most effective strat for getting consistent at her
these builds are awesome but man I have too many other games and things to do to play them lol, I was wondering how did you make your game look so bright ? i've been tinkering with the options a bit but I haven't reached that level (maybe it's because you're playing in 4k idk)
rip my hopes for a bow-centric build 6:36 bandit* I appreciate that you suggest to use the strat of completely avoiding Placi's laser breath attack sparingly. It really one of the coolest moves in the game and just cheesing it seems pretty lame.
I thought you was supposed to be using the starting gear from each class?? Or keeping to those specific weapons?? Look forward to the next character now.
Ah, Bandit! Reminds me of my first 20 min in Elden Ring: 1. Bandit, because rule of cool 2. Ouch, tree sentinel 3. Ok, let’s get the bow out 4. as every NPC casually dodges arrows. 😐
Would it be possible to stagger Elden Beast before it swims away with a Dragon Maw followed by a two-hit Dragon Claw? Is that enough posture damage? 🤔👀
I never cared for one-shotting bosses, personally. I prefer having a fight actually last for a bit, as it means I won't just "cheese" through things effortlessly in one parry, cast, status proc or so and actually need to learn the enemies/bosses completely in order to prevail. The fights in this game is incredible, and my pursuit of mastering these games as much as I possibly can will not bear much fruit if all I do is run a giga-bleed/faith/intelligence glass cannon nuke build. 60 DEX and 45 ARC is plentiful for my intents and purposes overall, with most of my leftover points going into VIG and END. Dex is my main AR stat, while Arc is mostly for status procs. Its by no means some overpowered or incredibly busted playstyle, but it can pull incredible numbers in PvE as all crit builds can, yet still surprise and shock in PvP scenarios as well. I primarily rely on the Buckler, Great Knife/Misericorde/Dagger (Your choice, but I just like the Great Knife overall.) and Black Bow with a wide variety of arrows and throwables. Dagger Talisman is an obvious choice here, but with Misericorde I would say you can choose something else. Arrow's Soaring Sting talisman, though I keep this as a flex option personally, and will usually grab Milicents Prosthetic or the "Damage increase on Crit hit" talisman from SotE. Jar talisman is criminally slept on IMHO, and no Master Thief/Bandit will disregard the usefulness of having throwables at your disposal. Furled Finger Trick Mirror is a staple of mine for any co-op or pvp, but if I feel the need, I will usually go blue dancer or some other overall attack increase talisman to help out my dagger and bow damage a bit further. The beauty of "Bandit/Scoundrel/Thief/Assassin" builds to me is their flexibility and versatility. I have always loved a versatile approach than hard focused on any one thing personally, because you never know when a moment rises where you really wish you had x,y or z at hand. It is what works for me. Might not be what works for some of you. That is fine! The beautiful thing about the Great Knife to me, is that you have bleed on it innately and can slap poison on it as well. Not perfect. Not ideal. But the amount of times having two status effects threaten someone/something at a constant -- along with solid spacing, parrying skill, aggression and a great deal of utility items at hand is something I lost count of hundreds of hours ago. Poison isn't insane or anything, but it IS annoying. It IS a threat. Coupled with your already fast attacks, capable ranged attacks and criticals it can quickly add up to be a truly disgusting status. I usually wear just the standard bandit rags or prisoner clothes for the early game, then I get the leather armor + black hood for mid-late game for a solid "Thief" aesthetic. In the end of the day, I simply embrace the mantra of Sekiro with these kinds of characters/builds... "No honor. No rules. You. Or them. Kill them hard. Kill them fast. Kill them ingeniously." Easily my favorite build to play in all the soulsborne games.
Video/post 5 of asking for a "PC glitch"-less, offline and not too hard other glitches series after the starter class series on all the other souls games (including ds3 again).

Welcome to Episode 5 of "Episode Numbers Having No Meaning Because I Edited Them, Then Decided To Release Them In A Different Order". Hope you enjoy the vid!
Fun fact the executioners greataxe has the highest repost damage in the game which is much higher than misericord
Fun fact about the misericorde:
The reason it does so much critical damage is because it was a sharp weapon that was meant to go through armour
Fun fact about the Brick Hammer: it does a lot of blunt damage because it is a large blunt brick.
@@titanspirit7238 yea but the misericorde was an actual weapon
Another name for it is the “mercy blade” because it could pierce armour
@@toxicwaste225 Yeah but bricks have been used as actual weapons ever since people had thumbs. Brick goes bonk. Classic brick.
@@titanspirit7238 fair point
@@toxicwaste225 it doesnt pierce armor, it is small and slick to fitin between the armor gaps, visors, beneath armpits and under neckguards, thighs so as to pierce the femoral artery
I've found the elemental shield talismans quite useful, like the holy+1/2 for Maliketh. Glad to see you put some pants on the character.
"Honey, I can't make it to the hospital to see my first born son. Thingfishy dropped a new build."
That is outrageous
22:12 I love that part of the song, and it played at a good moment! In Abundance by Edgar Hopp
Well well well. I just started a bandit play thru when i got tired of waiting for the dlc. Gonna try this.
I made your original dragon build you mentioned in the video and it wrecks! Excited to try this haha! Your videos are so great please keep going and thanks!
It’s crazy how much you do for each video! I wonder how many playthroughs of Elden ring you have done.
Love the way the music goes with the gameplay.

Look forward to watching your videos on Saturday mornings, thanks for the hard work and thoughtful builds.
I had a moment with this build early fighting Renala 2 Dragon Maw left her with like 45% life then the crit with Misericorde took care of the rest.
As always with you, another great ER video and tutorial! Thank you for consistently providing great content!
Well this is going to be a fun series of builds to try
loving the motivational-like video editing
Been late to the last two but managed to catch this one early! Congrats on 50k bro keep up the amazing content! 🔥
Bandit class is triumphant !
It was my first choice for my first play through

Nice action, Thanks for the sweet gameplay, my friend. Keep up the wonderful work. 😺😺❤️❤️
Always the most enjoyable Elden videos out there.

How have I not known about thingfishy, I will he attentively waiting for your new build videos for the DLC

What a flippin' time to be babysitting! I'll get it watched later.

Great video hoping for a vyke spear and madness incantations for the prophet class

Nah reduvia is a wayyyyy better blood blade
@@theupsidedownbear4622No, I just explained why that’s not true.

The strat not working on Noble and then deleting Malenia is another reason for me to hate Godskin. Great video!!
Mr. Thing you are top tier. Have you ever goofed around with lions claw or giant hunt? Those are some fun ashes especially when you use a big ol’ hammer in pvp lol
Im really anxious to see what type of build he will chosse to duelist class
Lets play a parry build one more time thank for the inspiration
I beat the game with a plus 9 dragon communion on the original dragon communion build so I feel validated when you don’t upgrade your seal.
Why are you using seal for a starting class with no seals from the start? Also lack of shortbows use even if they're bad you should find out some good use for them like inflicting status efects
You are the Bandit @ThingfishyGaming because you’ve stolen our hearts.
Honestly, "Parry Malenia and punish with Big Spell™ or Big AoW™" has become the only way I ever fight her anymore. It's proven to be my favorite and most effective strat for getting consistent at her
Nice vid, as always.
I would imagine that the star fists with an occult infusion would make this build even scarier. I’m thinking of trying that.
Or maybe the spiked ceastus instead
Another great video! Can't wait for the next one! :D

Babe wake up thingfishy posted a new video
Are you planning on doing a wretch build at all, because there is that flowerstone gavel and draconic form setup...

how did you make your elden ring look so colorful and vibrant
I dont get it why you upgrading max arcane ? What is it for ? Greate video love it
"Oh he's dead". When a plan doesn't come together because the build is too effective.
I would still like to see a thingfishy video with 0 parrying.
Same.

Excellent video🔥🔥 Big like 342 👍👍👍
I think it'd be cool if you completed the game using one bosses weapon and skill. Make a good series that
Hi,
Maybe dragon seal in the same hand as buckler....????
Why dont you use the blue dancer on your parry build btw?
Dragon maw or scarlet rot breath?
prediction: its buckler parry. edit: okay dragonmaw, W
Once again I was convinced that the dagger is the most useless weapon in the game. Thank you.
Love these ❤🎉
How is your dragonmaw so overpowered, I’m following this exact build and my dragon hardly did anywhere close to what yours did during Godfrey
Dragon priest without the +0 starting spear just isn't the same.
3:24 this doesn't work for me, every time i get on the ledge if i stand still torrent instantly falls off. how do i make him stay on the ledge?
Jump then try walking instead of run to get in position
Nice guide, but why would I need a guide if I could reliably parry? Especially bosses.
Kind of ironic how the lord of blood is weak to bleed.
Bro just struggles less with bosses than I do with weak mobs

didn't they patch the night's cavalry cheese?
dunno if you've found the answer to this, but I just did it on latest patch 1.12.3 after shadow of the erdtree exactly as the video said!
Its ironic that Mogh is weak to bleed yet he loves to make others bleed💀

starting to get tired of all the parry builds
