Music video by Killer Dwarfs performing Dirty Weapons. (C) 1990 SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT
Killer dwarfs whole album dirty weapons kicks ass even in 2020.
I'm 32 years old n love these guys I have this album, and the keep the spirit alive too.
@global wanderer definitely and Canadians can sure freaking rock
Yes it does! I’ve been rocking out to this album for 30 years! I never get tired of the songs. Absolute kick ass album 👍🏻👊🏻
@@rockandrolf8611 Yes they can! So many great bands from Canada 🇨🇦 Aldo Nova, Triumph, April Wine, Loverboy, Helix, Honeymoon Suite, Bryan Adams, Rush, Gordon Lightfoot, Corey Hart, Glass Tiger, Red Rider, Steppenwolf, The Guess Who. I’m sure I’m forgetting many others, but yeah, so many great musicians from Canada and great comics too!
@@Tracy-Lee-Staton exactly damn I remember when I was 16 n I first heard aldo novas song fantasy. Great memories
They were definitely overlooked back in the 80’sand 90’s.. Killer band, killer voice! Hence Killer Dwarfs!! Thanks for all the great tunes boys!!
They should have dropped the goofy dwarf gimmick and been more serious and they would have taken off.
I saw them open for L. A.Guns in 2017....they're really good!! I'm in Denver.
Very underrated Canadian band. They put out some awesome music.
Yes.👍
Better than rush
@@andrewgilbertson3227 🤣🤣🤣
This album kicks ass! One of the biggest underrated records ever!
I've always liked these guys, but ya know I never thought of them as underrated. It's not hard to see why they didn't keep up with cream. Decent band, but far from great.
Another masterpiece from the 80's...What a great tune!!!!
Agree
Released in 90 but I get your point
@@daveg4236 Right you are...Oops! Still kick ass though!😜
1990
Does anyone else get mad energy n wanna headbang n throw some 🤟🤟horns when listening 2 this in 2021!?!✌Rock on!!
🤟🤟2024, yes I do! ❤😂
Me and my bro drank a few with these boys In Birmingham UK back in the day when they were supporting Iron Maiden on the Powerslave tour I think. Top lads
saw them support Maiden in Edinburgh on the seventh son tour. They were great.
It was the seventh son tour dude
That’s awesome you got to hang with them! I’ve been jamming to them for 30 years and I never tire of the Dirty Weapons album.
The Killers Dwarfs are the worlds biggest unknown rock band.
I remember they had to compete with the likes of Joe Satch and Surfing with the Alien..., they stood up to the plate and kicked ass w/ Stand Tall...
So glad i grew up with this era of music instead of the crappy ass shit out there now someone kill the rap crap !!!!
I'm sorry, but HAIR METAL just F****** ROCKS!!!! Never stop listing
WOW!!! Top Notch Hair Metal...Unfortunately...besides us Canadian fans...these guys...haven't got the recognition they deserved
I've lived in Maryland all my life (Mid-Atlantic region of the US) and have loved these guys since this song first came out. My social studies teacher in high school spoke often about her nephew who was/is in the band. But I don't recall which one he is.
CROSSBONESXIII Fucking love these guys in Boston!!!
CROSSBONESXIII love these guys! Live in the states but when satellite tv was all the rage and we got Much Music.. Canadian MTV. These guys were on there all the time!
Thanks to Joe Anthony 99.5 KISS FM, they are loved in San Antonio TX.
Jay A I love them! Lived in Ohio we had Satelitte tv.. They were always on Much Music.
I thought I was listening to Jack Russell for a minute there. Outstanding vocals and guitar! Pretty great song 👍
thank the Lord for sirius xm radio,s hair nation. takes me back to my best day,s every day.
I heard this song for the first time on House of Hair radio when Dee Snyder was hosting it. What a song!
This kicks more ass than Chuck Norris in a bad mood. \m/
this band is fucking awesome........ dirty weapons one of best albums ever put out, with crystal production. good job guys
There was a DJ here in San Antonio in the 80s, Joe Anthony, he played these guys like crazy. I saw them @ La Samana. Awesome band. What a blast from the past!
RIP Godfather !
Always thought this guy had the some of the best metal vocals.
Sebastian Bach as well...
Yes! Crank it!
indeed
I actually went to high school with them. We used to go over to Darrells place and they would just play all nigh!! Lots of fun back then
The Panthian had thier cassette in my garage but final crapped out last year....ya im old lol
I remember KNAC used to play this back in the days.
For some reason I really like these guys. I guess I know the reason.
Should have been bigger than they were.
Agree one million time and on.
Axl Kix they Rule Brother love me
Some DwArFs
Axl Kix probably would be bigger if they had a better band name
Sadly if they were bigger they would have had to change their name to Killer Normal Size People

A very talented band that got lost in the crowded metal scene of the 1980's.
Love this song! Heard this on XM Radio in the car just today!
who are the 43 donkeys who gave this a thumbs down???? Badass, long live metal!!!!
These guys rock
The 'donkeys' don't like Canadians. F*** them!
No body that I would know.
Those 115 dislikes are those blasted Elves.
Morons!!!!
Seeing Russ Dwarf live in 2018 is still awesome. He hasn't lost any of his manic energy.
M3 music festival?
I learned about Killer Dwarfs back in the 80's from a movie...The Movie was called The Gate its about little Demons coming out of the ground and Hell taking over Earth and a Kid and his friend and sister have to stop it from happening. The main character is played by Stephen Dorff and his friend has a back patch on his Jean Jacket that says Killer Dwarfs so I went and checked them out and was like...wow this band kicks ass.
I’m only here cause of the kids jacket in the movie “the gate”. Thanks for having me
Fan in the 80s and now my son's band, Treazon, is playing on the same stage for a metalfest later this year!! Looking forward to seeing Killer Dwarfs at the fest!
Just watched "The Gate" and was reminded of this band.
Never understood why they weren’t bigger. Their music was some of the best of the 80s hair scene. This album is epic front to back
Because they were dwarfs ;)
released the album too late, 90 was the end of hair metal
@@CapHowdy 3 years late, but lmao
Saw killer Dwarfs in the Late (80's) or early (90's) at La Semana Alegre for Fiesta in Downtown San Antonio Tx. Near Hemisfare Park!!!m The parking lot Near the Tower of America!! Also The God's!! Awesome Show"s at La Semana Alegre Blule Oyster Cult, Dangerous Toys the Fabulous Thunderbirds with jimmy Vaughan.!! Had a chance to see Stevie Ray Vaughan but got drunk some were in Fiesta!! Can't remember the other bans there!! A Band got in trouble for almost starting a Riot then went to Bexar County Jail!! That was the charge I think!! May be at Market Square Dancing drunk and Stoned!! Those were the days with no internet!! I'm old school with my walk men was my Friend and remember Casette's!! Rock n Roll and all that Jazz!!Bring Back Fiesta In Downtown San Antonio Tx. It's always in April but now in June 11th of this year!! 10 full days of Partying out, Carnival, Parades, Dancing,& Bands at Market Square!! All types of Music!! Rock n Roll and all that Jazz!!Killer Dwarfs HellYeah!!!
Awesome song! This was back in 1990, the very last year in history when music was still good.
truest statement I've EVER heard on youtube. absolutely true. this and the song "nightsongs" by Cinderella. absolute best of the guitar heroes era. sad how it died w nirvanna oh well, legendary
Agreed !! But let me tell you something , did you know there´s an underground scene growing for this kind of music? There are tons of bands with this sound and looks mostly started by kids who are from 16 to 28 and they´re KILLER live, i thought it was all lost but let´s wait and see :)
Phoenix Van Wyden i wish
Let´s wait to see what future holds :)
1990, the year I graduated high school. The music was beyond awesome back then.
This is why I have a place in my heart for youtube. I was watching some Stephen Pearcy with Arcade. Over in the sidebar there was a recommendation for this video. WIN!!!
Sometimes the algorithm works.
Proof, yet again, that Canada produced outstanding rock bands. The Killer Dwarfs, B.T.O., Triumph, and the almighty Rush
April Wine
Sword
Don't forget The Headpins!
This song f'ing rocks. Never did understand why they did not get bigger than they were. Very underrated.
cubalz blame it on the poseur Riki Rachtman
Mr. Romeo For real. Headbangers ball? Not when you play No Rain from blind melon. He was a little bitch. js
They were not a priority for their record label. That's why they didn't get bigger. The record company signed them but didn't do much to promote them. Any lack of success has nothing to do with Riki Rachtman - he did not pick the videos for HBB. He was just the host.
Another factor working against them may have been that they were too heavy for radio and didn't have that "pretty boy" image that was all the rage at the time.
AngryAgain how did bands like Megadeth succeed then?
Because Megadeth released some of the best damn metal albums ever made that's how. Killer Dwarfs were just a good band in a sea of bands, that's why they didn't make it big. This type of metal just lost it's flavor with metal fans who were hungry for thrash metal, and then Death metal. Once grunge became the next flavor it was over for this band. Plus Canadian metal bands in general had/have a hard time gaining success. Razor even wrote a song about how hard it is being a Canadian metal band called "American Luck". Even Canadian metal bands like Voivod and Annihilator had to go overseas to find their fanbase. Annihilator doesn't even play in Canada. Not one single Canadian metal band made it really big and that goes for Killer Dwarfs, Helix, Annihilator, Razor, Voivod, Sacrifice, Exciter etc.
I bought "Dirty Weapons" on cassette and wore that mutha OUT! The Dwarfs' sound was HUGE! You had to go pretty far to see more energy, on stage, than these guys! LLR&R!
still blows Nickleback away.....wtf happenned to rock?
Milan .Chara It got taken over by "Corporate Rock" Grunge bands- no offense, I do like Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana. But Rock Hasn't been the same since the 70's and the 80's. Bands like Killer Dwarfs, Kix and many others were left behind
Jeff White agreed
Jeff White but not forgotten :) well not by us that appreciate it anyway!
+Milan .Chara Just about ANYTHING is better than Nickelshit.
that's actually a good name for band btw - Nickelshit at the Hammersmith!
The Dwarfs will always kick ass!!!!!
They are still out there people, Canadian glam at its finest. Might be coming to a venue near you!
Great band, great album.. Met them in Cambridge Ontario Canada at a show, great group of guys.
Ah yes. The boys from Whitby Ontario! Killer band!!! Around 1990, (Used to live in the Oshawa area at the time) went back to Montreal, (Original from that area) played this tune for a couple of bro's. Bert McGowan, guitar guru, the drummer JP, (OD on crack) his brother, an other guitar God, forget his name....The old Molsons building downtown, Mtl, was a converted into a jam/recording studio..Bert and the boys got this tune down! Man I will never forget it..F-en AWESOME!..
Mind you not to far, the legendary "Steve's Music Store". Purchased my '80 something Gibson Flying! "V".
Mtl was a hub for rock music in it's day...Sucks getting old, as the year fly by, remembering the times...etc. I could go on for hours........Ontario Canada and Montreal, the talent coming out of these places was incredible.....Way to many to list. I'm now 65, seen and heard so much! The music today, seems to be lacking the effect of times past. Pissed me off, I had tickets to see "Led Jeppelin" in MTL 1980...we all know what happened then. ROCK ON MAN!
Sometime way back when...Had never heard of them...backed-up either Scorpions or Michael Schenker at the Uptown theater, Chicago...walked away a fan!! Really great band!!!
They opened for MSG at The Vic, 4/12/1990. Did you attend the show when the Dwarfs' singer dove above the audience to crowd surf and they all backed up? He fell on the floor, but came back and finished the show. The audience also grabbed the microphone off the stand when McAuley swung it out.
@@ChicagoGirlStuckSW I can't recall that...but I do remember that I was blown away...I was really shocked that I hadn't heard of them before... anyway I listen to them weekly... really like 'em!!!

one of the best 80's hair metal
Seen them play live in the early 90's, Kicked Ass then and still Kick Ass today
The Dwarfs are still rocking...playing tomorrow night Nov. 10 at the Music Hall in Oshawa. We used to love partying with Russ & Darryl at the infamous Sherwood Forest Inn in Trenton, ON back in the 80's.My good pal Gerald VooDoo McLaughlin was their soundman and now is an airbrush artist extraordinaire.Keep rocking Dwarfs !!
Just rediscovering this 26 years since I saw it on Headbanger's Ball. Only took me that long to finally realize that their sound is a love child of Great White and Dokken. He sounds so much like Jack Russel - IMHO
Chris Buchanan he sounds nothing like a Jack Russell Terrier. lol
I don't hear it at all. KiLLeR DWaRfS were and are WAY better than Jack Russel & Great White.
He reminds me of Dave King of Fastway.
Thank for paying tribute to one of Canada’s most underrated rock bands, Triumph. Rik Emmett rules!
The vocals is like the perfect bridge between Geddy Lee and Sebastian Bach. I wanna know what's in the Canadian water.
HOLY FUCK ROCKNROLL FOREVER!!!
Fuckkkk Yeahhhhhhhhh
\m/ 80's forever....
FUCK YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! \../
wow, what a huge sound (for lil guys)
totally fogot how much i love ALL their tunes!!!!!!!!
This is my childhood!!
Great rock n roll record! 2 thumbs up from the Dog.Went to see them in 90 but they cancelled.Shucks! Never got to see them.
Knac 105.5 had the best sleasy West Hollywood metal......evil
one of my favorite bands off all time long live killer dwarfs
robbie veinot Ahhh fuck that. These guys put out a few good songs on each cd and were never consistent. But the one csd that everyone else puts down as being mediocre... their last one "Method To The Madness" is clearly the iconic leap of quality that they never made on any other album. I I would say their last and their first were truly their best. If only they made all their albums like "Method" then I'd be a huge Daniel bryan errr dwarfers fan...
love this band for ever
kick-ass rock song!!
WHAT a freaking AMAZING VOICE!!!!!! Can't believe these guys didn't get the recognition they seriously deserved....
Other than Canada, pretty well impossible to get the US radio stations to play their tunes in order to make that successful breakthrough in the North American market. Unfortunately, the same fate experienced by many other talented Canadian bands.
Just found my cassette of this album today. I'm really glad u decided to see what was in the box.
For all the Defenders trying to turn in weapons tonight but ain't cutting it....!!!
we make the first part with this guys and the Slik Toxik guys,,Killer,,,,,this is the best musics period and the best Canadian band,,No Doubt about that
these guys were seriously underrated
One of my favorite bands great guys met them at Cancun cantina in Maryland 🤘
37 people don't like F-105 Thunderchiefs or bad azz Mig-splashin' auhsum 80's hair metal tunez.

DAMN ...THIS song rockED in the 80's..fast forward to 2022 ..STILL FRICKIN ROCKS ...KILLER DWARFS FOREVER :)
FUC* YES!
That's a Ritz guitar mike is playing. I owned one. ERIC Galeta built. Spoke to him myself! I had to let it go... Eric .. is a master luther. Guitar is in a collectors hand!. I wish I hadn't. ..
Very rare 80s Eric still builds today. Himself outside of Wayne. .charvel ect.. The guitar is priceless..
Thanks Jason for posting that info on the killer guitar Mike is playing. Kept stopping the video to figure it out but couldnt read it. Love Mikes work on this song. The riff and indeed the entire song is killer.
God Bless you Gentlemen for helping to save the free world!
Drank a few beers with these guys, Lol
+hippyhauler13 I think I did too.. In Denver, bout 89'?.....its foggy....
Great song does a great job of get the dust of the subs. Canada Rocks

Saw them in my 20's still a great band today..
great band keep rockn ,jamn to casstte in my 77 Trans Am
Fuckin LURV this song....
Just sayin'.
I like the song
Good grief! Today I heard about these guys for the first time watching an old Iron Maiden interview from 1988. Steve & Dave flipped over this band saying they're 'brilliant, one of the best bands out there.' I was a metal head throughout most of the 80's and cannot believe I've never heard them until now. This guy's vocals are as good as Sebastian Bach. Amazing! Too bad they never hit it big. Seemed they peaked when metal was giving way to grunge, etc. Checked their Wiki, looks like they've been signed to the label owned by Megadeth's bassist. Maybe they make a nice push. Hope so. They're killer....
Some Canadian bands are huge here but never make it over the border. These guys were on our radio stations and Much Music a lot. They have some pretty good videos .
espectacular banda viva CHILE viva KILLER DWARFS YEAHHH!!!BABY

What a voice❤️❤️❤️❤️great band
Saw them in a club in New Rochelle, NY called STREETS, ALL WELL KNOW BANDS PLAYED THERE. I TOOK 📸 PICTURES OF MAJOR ACTS THAT PLAYED THAT CLUB. I AM A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER. TOOK ALL MY HUSBAND BAND PHOTOS AND PRESS PACKAGES TOGETHER BACK IN THE 80S. MY HUSBAND BAND PLAYED AT STREETS ROCK CLUB TWICE. PAT WAS GREAT AND TOOK CARE OF EVERYTHING. HE WAS THE PROMOTER AT THE CLUB.
SOUNDS LIKE JACK RUSSEL OF GREAT WHITE
My girlfriend caught me singing along to this and questioned my sanity.....my reply was "youth re-lived".Fucking love this track!
Oh btw...i'm 50,hence the g/f bugging me ha ha
yes yes yes ,,this is real.....cant fake this!!!
LoL dana carvey errrrr russy dwarf makes weird facial expressions! Same expressions he had when someone told him his 'stand tall' cd is selling for around $150 now :D Those are his rockstar poses :)
Any fellow Canadians out there \m/ \m/ I'm trying to build a list of the Top Canadian Hair Bands from back in the day (long or short lifespan doesn't matter...as long as they have at least one killer song, or album)...Killer Dwarfs, Brighton Rock, Sven Gali, Slik Toxic, Helix, Honeymoon Suite, Pretty Boy Floyd, Saints & Sinners, Thor, Alias, Harem Scarem, Gypsy Rose, Kick Axe, Rockhead, Lee Aaron...anymore, with suggested song I could check out?
One of my favorite songs.
PERFECTION 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Dirty Weapons is excellent. 😀👍🤘🎸
@HardJust1ce that is true. 😀👍🤘🎸
None of them are dwarfs...
CurtisAlfeld
They are pretty short. Guitar player has platforms on when I seen them.
But then again I am 6'5"
Why does that matter whatsoever? It’s a band name.
their not tall . meet them in person . shorter than me and iam just 6 . but they kick ass still all that matters
Seen at the Pump in Regina...early 2000's.. They played this last. I stood there staring and the lead singer looked back like I was retarded. I just could not believe what I was hearing/seeing after 12-15 or so years of first hearing this and learning the riff on guitar sitting in my basement in small town saskatchewan..Never got to be a rockstar...oh BTW this song kicks ass!! Are you guys alive?! Write more cool songs!!
I've loved these guys since I first heard them in the late 80s. Never understood why they never got their proper dues.
This shit kicks so much ass! I dont understand why they werent bigger! They have songs that i NEED to learn! 80s bombarded us with bands. Sadly for me Killer Dwafs slipped thru. I am so fuckin sorry about that!!! Their music applies still today n rocks just as n hard if not harder than most 80s bands! They deserve fuckin credit!!
Thanks for keeping hair metal alive!
Greetings from Serbia
Loved, loved, loved this song first time I heard it. Then saw video on head bangers ball on mtv. Totally sold. One of my favorite songs ever.so high energy and great video. Can't say enough great things about it. Love it love it.not to forget these guys were all freaking gorgeous!!!
The Dwarves are Giants! 😜
Top 5 stupid band names 🤣
Listened to this on a cassette while driving my 68 mustang two huge speakers on the back dasherboard 90% of this groups music great !
Wow! I can't believe that Dangerous Toys and Killer Dwarfs have more views than Love/Hate.
