Barry Sharpnack 80s also had so much bands!!!! All equally as talentet, even though i have my favourites. I come across loads of rock bands i haven't heard of practically every time i search for 80s rock, its very unusual, Today girls go crazy over today's rock band "Mcbusted", but if they had real taste when listening to 80s early 90s rock music Mcbusted sounds like CRAP.

I had the album, and although I liked their melodic songwriting style. The lyrics weren't very original, and the band lacked the grit, the killer edge and glam image that GnR had with Appetite For Destruction, which Thin Lizzy and Hanoi Rocks inspired // Whether the album does great commercially is irrelevant. As an artist, all that counts is that you've made the album and that the songs are truthful, powerfully moving, expressing your soulful, passionate nature // Axl Rose had the physique, the androgynous image, not a contrived image for mass appeal, and dynamic, nuanced vocal range, raw, sleazy

Richard Black took a lot of dance classes and yoga. It is the saddest story to come out of those days. Someone else watched hours and hours and hours of Richard performing, so they could copy him. (Spin would say that the “Imposter” was “influenced by Richard Blacks unique moves. When you copy every move someone else is known for, that goes so far past influence). Sadly the guys were locked in to a bad record company deal, at this critical time they couldn’t release anything. While the “Imposter” went on to have one of the most successful careers in Rock, stealing someone else’s signature moves. Then when Shark Island could release this song and started touring, Richard could no longer perform as one of the best frontmen ever, because everyone believed that Richard was copying the “Imposter”. The “Imposter” admitted it in his book, he was supposed to pay Richard $50,000. Of course he never paid a cent. Without those moves, the “Impostor” would never have a career in the stratosphere. It is such a travesty.

I used to listen to these guys back in the late 80's. I liked them because they were a blend of metal but kind of different somehow. They weren't copying all the other junk going on at the time.

I bought their record in NY City in 1990 visiting my relatives. Once back in Italy this song was making me think about the city if NY and a beautiful woman calling me back to those endless streets with the entire planet walking on. What an incredible felling

Shark Island was a great band on the Hollywood Strip in the 80's. I loved listening and watching them. If you watch the singer (Richard Black)at the end of this video you will see where Axl Rose got his popular snake move from.Axl . Yep he stole it from Richard Black. Axl didnt even throw him a bone..

ふふふ Glad I'm not alone. Greg Ellis's drum sound was awesome during his time with them. That snare just cracks like lightning. He was so underrated, nice to see him having success in other kinds of music now.

I called you up just to hear your breath on the phone
I lie in bed and I shake for you all alone
Far away in a foreign land, my memory takes its stand
Hard to take for a man like me, hard for you to see
You believe what you wanna believe
I must go where my soul wants to lead
I'm entranced by the land of romance, and a
    A love that's still waiting
When I feel my love burning
    Deep inside my heart
I hear Paris calling every time
Seems there's nothing left that's right
Up and down the streets tonight
    Tension builds inside my heart
Well, it tries to tear my world apart
I wanna be where the night will remind me
Of the world in which you were beside me
It's a dream I have hidden inside for love
    And love is still waiting
When I feel my love burning
    Deep inside my heart
I hear Paris calling every time
When I feel my love burning
    Deep inside my heart
I hear Paris calling every time
    (We're through)
Mon cher, y'a longtemps que je n'ai pas eu de nouvelles de toi
Quand vas-tu venir à Paris? Comme tu m'as promis
J'espère bientôt. Tu me manques, beaucoup
I called you up to hear your breath on the phone
When I feel my love burning
    Deep inside my heart
I hear Paris calling every time
When I feel my love burning
    Deep inside my heart
I hear Paris calling every time
    Every time
    Every time
    Every time
    Every time
    Every time
    Every time
