Dang ! This explains it all for me! I wrestled with a matching color woodgrain driver side Roadmaster fender for hours at yard 2 hours from home and l ended up leaving that dang fender behind. "FAIL" I wasted time removing the driver door and all those bolts that you said not to remove. Thanks for that info bro. We done.
I put every shim, every screw and bolt exactly where it was when I installed my new fender but the inner fender seems not to line up, at all. It looked nice and fit when when the old fender was on. But now it looks crooked. Any idea what I can do to fix this? Maybe I just started installing it in the wrong spot or something.
About to take both inner and outer fenders off both sides . Thanks man👍 I was just goings to take the skins off glad I seen this ..

I need to replace the antenna on my 96 impala. Do I need to take the outer fender off to get to it or take both off?

shouldn't you mention the bolts I believe 2 of them are connected with the front bumper? correct me if Im wrong
