I really like the way that Just Planes don't cut the ATC when the other aircrafts are speaking. Most other channels cut the ATC, except there own aircraft is speaking...I love it!
Love this video and I love where the camera is at. Awesome tribute to this amazing airline; it's sad that they ended operations. I enjoy watching and listening to these pilots, awesome takeoff that sounds amazing, and an amazing view outside these windows. I do love the A330's and its cockpit, it's a beautiful and amazing plane inside and out. Awesome video, I love it.
@@thebetterayaan I read that Air Italy was reporting a financial loss of 164 million euros in 2018 and 200 million euros in 2019. Due to EU Laws, one of their shareholder's Qatar couldn't increase investment or inject money into the Airline. EU law limits foreign ownership of companies to a minority stake. Qatar suggested that the other shareholder of Air Italy was unwilling to continue operating at a loss but Qatar did everything they could to help. Air Italy did expand but the market made it difficult in some areas and due to that, they were struggling financially. Another Airline based in Italy during that time also had financial issues as well. Therefore, the virus had no effect on them shutting down operations. I remember looking it up because I had no clue until I saw an article about it. I tend to check to make sure it's true.
These are great videos. It's interesting that in essence each one is kind of the same thing, same theme, but all are interesting in their own way. I'm a private pilot, less than 200 hours, haven't flown in more than 20 years. I still love flight, am building a simulator (twin engine prop). Ok, enough about me. A year ago I flew commercial 737 out of Dallas. After take off, a right turn then leveled off, I'm guessing around 5000 ft. An odd situation that kind of alarmed me, quick reduction in throttle and speed, it felt like we put the brakes on. Most things don't unnerve me, not even turbulence or cross wind landings or bad weather. But the sudden slowing minutes after take off was kind of scary. Why would something like that happen, traffic spacing, etc? Thanks. Keep up the GREAT work.
You're lucky man...after your training, are you planning to join an airline, or are you going to be a private pilot, flying for leisure? Whatever you do, I wish you all the best! I have a feeling, you're going to have a bright future and your parents will be proud of having a child like you...May God bless you and your family and keep you and your family happy always!
@@thebetterayaan Well, possibly I confused you with my comments and questions. I earned my private license in 1990. My parents were proud when I passed my flight exam. Before Dad passed, I was lucky enough to take him on one flight. I am retired now. I don't have plans to seek another career! I still have an interest in flight and software hobbies. That's why I want to build a simulator using open source Flight Gear as my simulator software of choice. My question is still on the table about the sudden reduction of speed on the flight I mentioned. I'm curious why that would happen, possible reasons. It was the first and only time I can remember experiencing that on a commercial flight. Thanks for the comments.
@@dhudach Great to hear your story...I'm an aspiring pilot, please pray for me! I'm motivated by your story. I also would like to be in more touch with you.
@@진킴윤 it's not usually about the altitude, it's about the speed. Every flap setting has a maximum speed you can bring out the flaps. On the a320 flaps 1 is at 230 knots I believe. So whenever you are at that speed and below you can bring out that flap setting. I would never recommend it at 10000 due to it producing toooo much drag and you will have a very slow approach. The atc may not be very fond of that.

Air Italy ended operations? Is it because of the Covid crisis, or did they get bankrupted?

In what altitude should I put the flaps 1 in landing
60000 feet
@@larryfatty5377 no problem if I put it at 10000ft
