I've seen this video with multiple camera positions, and I love each of them; great pilots, beautiful plane, and a great airline. I did think that this Captain moving his seat around was a bit strange, but I did like how he was looking around outside of this aircraft. I would do that too because you're aware of what's going on. Plus, I would want to enjoy that view. The view outside these windows is beautiful and amazing. Awesome landing that sounds amazing. I do love seeing the other planes while they taxi to their gate. I did enjoy listening to these pilots as well. Awesome video; I love it.
I counted 66 seat adjustments in the video before landing and six of those times were on short final with the autopilot OFF. This can't be a good habit.
the captain is never satisfied with his seat position ... how funny and sweet at the same time . even on short finals he is fidgeting with his seat adjusting switches XD XD
@@WhereHeroesDies well, I meant the captain. He is the only one who discovered that moving and adjusting the seat constantly fixes the circulatory problems

A bit overcontrolling on the yoke. On touchdown right away his left hand is off the yoke and his right hand is off the thrust levels. Very strange. Stories has it, he was still dreaming of the sound of his motor chair in the hotel room. 24:41 Another day another dollar LOL
Good grief! The plane is landing and below 1000 ft. The autopilot is switched off, and the Captain is still playing with his chair. Is he flying the plane or his seat?

Pilots always land with one hand. The other is on the throttles. Many planes like the 777 and 787 can manage speed for you and auto throttle all the way down but they still like having a hand ready to manage speed. Every pilot will always land with one hand. Always. Oh and btw it’s called a yoke. Thanks for your time
@@dipdippotatochip6finney746 Is that true -- one hand on the throttle/one hand on the Yoke -- for strong wind landings such as at Las Vegas Airport and the one in Wellington, New Zealand?
She is obviously the best I have ever traded with, I make profits every week even though some weeks aren't that much due to the fluctuations but am guaranteed of my profit weekly
All the comments about his seat adjustments. Are you a pilot? If yes, have you been in a position where you’ve sat in the seat for long periods of time? Then suddenly you found yourself dancing with the old lady on a gusty day and you just have the urgent need to find the right sweet spot for that perfect landing? I’ve been there and done that. I don’t see anything wrong with it. You’ll probably text while driving and here you are passing judgement on a 788 captain. Smh
As a pilot working on my instrument rating I don’t touch my seat after I adjust it on the ground. I have never on any of my lights touched the adjustment in flight
@@luckyme4136 who is the culprit here?? The pilot who unnecessarily does things in the cockpit? Or the commenter who points out these unnecessary things??
If it's the 787 Dreamliner, then I'm the Pope. The adjustment of the electric seat is so loud, that it cannot be this model of the plane. I think this is the 711 Nightmare from 1952 not 787 Dreamliner. If this pilot will continues to fly this plane, his seat will be qualified on 100% for replacement next month :)...
Captain's body language (adjusting chair constantly, rubbing hands, swiping at his side computer) is telling me he was nervous the whole time. The winds must've played a role in his nervousness imo.
@@simboodamn That combination of extreme nerves with an overarching desire to look cool at the same time, it's hilarious to watch. I've heard this captain has got a 787 flight deck seat installed at his home as he still hasn't found the perfect seating position.

He like the sound of his motors chair 😁
Thank you. I thought I was the only one who noticed it. He drove me crazy to move his chair every 30 seconds🤣🤣🤣
It's kinda noisy, but most times it's hard to get that comfortable setting especially during approach.
I gets annoying, even for the pilot

I have seen this pilot before as well in one of your videos! It was London Heathrow too that time!
That’s all he’s allowed to do, fly into Heathrow. He’s only done 10 weeks training!

wonderful
I liked it when his seat went "EEEEEEET"
Well done pilots
Seems like an old video. See the PIA 777 parked at the terminal.
that capt is nervous like a teak siting on a bold head.
Imagine if you changed your seat position this much in your car or a cessna?
Just look at that epic situational awareness while on autopilot. That KAL captian on approach at SFO was a textbook case.
Dang....I thought the smoke alarm would have gone off by the time they landed. That seat motor must have been on fire by then.
I never realized how sensitive the tiller is.
Yes....I'm Waiting JP!......Betsy.
I wonder if he adjusts the seat all the time even when is driving a car

What Airline?
Nice sound! subbed
Pilot need to change his seat for comfortable while he’s flying around until he landed on runway.
That’s what he need it.....
@2:25 - what’s that soft horn sound?
How come when on autopilot the movements are very small yet when of autopilot his stick movements are twice as much ??
He is overcontrolling the aircraft unfortunately. It leads to a condition known as pilot-induced oscillation.
Pardon my ignorance, but why did the Pilot land the plane with only one hand on the "steering wheel"?

Ya no matter the weather the only time the pilot has two hands on is during takeoff because the f/o has the throttles
lol is there any reason why he keeps repositioning his seat.
“Approaching Minimums” .... adjusts his seat. Again.

One handed landing 😳
Always is... One hand on the yoke, the other working the throttles.
Only way to do it. Two hands on the yoke is just irresponsible
