I love this song, reminds me of my crazy carefree metal days playing records and drinking cider in my best mate's Mark's house, Mark passed away 3 weeks ago...RIP friend, this one is for you!
used to be a ska head, then went to see Mamas Boys every week with my mates at the Baggot Inn, Dublin back in 1983. These three genuis brothers were years ahead of their time. We stood at the front, i collected Tommys stick now and again after a gig, decided to play myself and this song was as as good as anything Thin Lizzy did on Live and Dangerous. thank you Tommy McManus and RIP
Vernon Robinson . Pat is still touring & releasing albums. John plays from time to time with Fastway. As I'm sure you know , Tommy passed away in 1994 :-( .
I was 13 YEARS in SWITZERLAND , WE HAVE HAD AN PIRATE R ADIOI STATION , CALLED RADIO 24 ; THEy POST BANDS LIKE MONTROSE , ROY BUCHANAN ;;; ROBIN TROWER , FRANK MARINO , - MAMAS BOYS , so I GOI EXPERIENCE.........Of Music THANK YOU , BROTHERS
Half pissed here please forgive me. Seen them one night in North London, mike Wilson on vocals, Tommy the gentleman he was, he and I had a few beers with Mike and couldn't believe that a bunch of Donegal headers went there for the gig. Give me his stage pass (btw it didn't work) what a pure decent bunch of people. Beautiful memories 🎸🥁🎤
@petercollum Now this is a blast from the past! how are you keeping Peter, we always enjoyed playing in the anchor...great times indeed...take care dude.
