    Subbed, great breakdown.
All they had to do, was follow the storyline from the OG series, they could change how the characters get to their destination, character growth etc, but not the end results of it, they could've put 3 episodes of the OG series in each of the Netflix episodes and it'd total out to the same length, they were lazy, and just didn't care about being true to the spirit of the show, as well as not incorporating any real martial arts, (apart from Zuko doing some flips and what not), to differ each bending form, as each nation is supposed to fight differently.
The most frustrating changes to characters for me was with Bumi, Ozai and Azula. Bumi was way to angry, bitter, spiteful, and hateful towards his best friends, instead of being the humbled, funny, and intelligent, yet crazy, silly and strategic king he's meant to be.
Ozai was so underwhelming, no real anger, fear, tyranny, I am not scared of him at all, he's to emotional, not cold and heartless as his show counterpart.
Azula is supposed to be extremely intelligent, the best of anyone else who comes up against her, witty, fierce, competent, terrifying, yet calm and collected, and extremely good in hand to hand combat, as well as tactical planning, my favorite antagonist next to Ozai in the series and this show ruined her. 😞
Well...onto seasons 2 & 3,time to watch them ruin one of the best characters in the series, Toph, and the arcs for the whole crew, looking forward to watching your review of those, Ik it'll be 10X better than this show is, lol. 💯😃

The writing is amateurish and goofy of the Nerflix show. They would have been better off with embracing the lighthearted part of the original.
    Nerflix, awesome typo.

I’m a fan of both but some of the NLA changes are just … I don’t know… baffling. I don’t think it’s a bad/good situation, just sucks cuz I would love to have honest discussions w my friends but they don’t even wanna watch the NLA 😅
