- This is the second flight (since purchase) of a Zenair CH-200 powered by a Continental O-300 Six Cylinder with a Warp Drive three bladed carbon fibre propeller.
I do like the sound of the little six!
Flight testing took place at Brampton Airport, Brampton, Ontario, Canada (TC LID: CNC3) February 28, 2009. Temperature: -10 C Visibility: Unlimited
This aircraft was purchased by Greg Vosper and Paul Eyles in November 2008 and has recently undergone an extensive annual with some minor improvements.
Please excuse the rainbow paint job.
Per Lindstrom is Zenith Pilot Extrodinaire and the (brave) test pilot at the controls on this day
Special thanx also to #1 test Pilot Peter for first flight on January 17, 2009.
After some minor adjustments of the rudder and aileron trim tabs, the little airplane pulled strong and flew straight and true at which point we were off to Collingwood for my first ride in 'LWD.
I should be able to resume my flight training very soon... flying season is almost upon us!
Overall, very satisfied with the performance... now on to the never ending improvements which make homebuilts so much fun! Авто/Мото
I own and fly a CH250 with a Lycoming O290D. Love it.
Hey there - any idea who built this guy?
How did you enjoy your flight to Collingwood?
Your airplane sounds like a Bonanza on takeoff...
