Legendary LEXUS LFA V10 at Speed

Surely one of the best sounding road cars ever made - it's EPIC! Sounds unlike anything else I've experienced. Here instructor Luke O'Neill takes us for a few fast laps of Sydney Motorsport Park and comments a bit on the car's background. The gearbox is an Automated Sequential Gearbox; the engine is a 4.8L V10, tuned by Yamaha and revs to 9,000rpm. Incidentally the official weight of the car is 1,555Kg, so it's not heavy considering the size of that engine. It just feels very solid and is beautifully built. What a car!

I agree - extraordinary noise. What an engine! When we first heard it going down the main straight we looked at each other in the pits and said "What was THAT?!!"

LFA and 599 GTO is mine someday (that is what I believe). Both my favorite cars! :)
