First time I’ve heard the radio show, I’m used to the TV version. The tape it’s taken from sounds sped up, Groucho and Fenneman have higher pitched voices than on the programs Ive watched. But, the sound quality is much better, there’s much less distortion in the audio.

You may be right. There are a bunch of episodes so they may have been trying to save space. Actually, this is from the TV show. I don't think there was a radio version but I could be wrong. I'll do some research to see just how wrong I may be. I have a 'best puns and one liners' ready to do and it's a video. He's amazing with his ability to think of a quick come back. But that's Groucho.
