Hey man I've just done the exact job on my 63.
One thing i did was use a heat gun to slightly soften the pipe that connects to the exchangers.
Love your channel man.
✌🏻 peace
Awesome! I appreciate it!
You know these heater hoses are designed to be cut to fit?
I appreciate it!
What width were the tubes?
Should be 60mm/60mm for both ends. Check out the description for the parts I used.
So basically the hoses just press fit in place?
Yeah, you can clamp them if you want.
How does the cable connect? There is just one twist lever inside. Are there two cables or one?
Please watch the entire video. You’ll see the cable coming out of the rear of the chassis, and how the cable connects. One on each side, so two cables.
@@VitosFix I was reading that it’s one cable and then bent at the knob section in the car

See attached link.
Do some more research, but in my experience, at least with the later models in the 60s, it’s a cable that splits .. a “Y.” Either way, you have 2 sides in the rear, going to each heater exchanger.
