Ebay Chinese Diesel heater installed in a VW.

Air cooled cars generally have a pretty miserable heater. I added a cool EBay Chinese diesel heater to my 66 beetle for those cold mornings driving to and from the car meet. May and Sept/October can be brutal driving to and from shows. It is an easily removable system for the warmer months. Works great! Please subscribe so I can add more content!!

I’m old school and have to work in BTU/hr. 5kw is about 17000 btu/hr or about 2/3 the size of a small garage furnace. Nice. I wish the original gas heaters had that controller.

hi i just got one of the 5kw heaters do i need to use the thin fuel line or can i use better rubber stuff ...cheers fish thanks for the vids ....

The line that comes with it is fine enough and you can see the fuel flow but I'm sure any diesel safe line would work.
