Congratulations on 1,000 subs!! 🎉 I haven't commented in a while, but I always watch your videos and enjoy your channel so much. I completely understand about "life happening " because I'm going through some tough life stuff now, too (as most of us are in some way or another). Hopefully things will get better soon! 🙏
Hi Janette! I wasn’t crazy about The Lost Boys and gave it 3 stars. Your hair pulled back was really cute. I recommend The Old Depot Grocery by Amanda Cox. It was sooo good. Every character was like able and I still think of that book.
I've always had the idea that Jamie Jo Wright would not be an author for me, and this video confirmed it. I'm glad you enjoyed He Should Have Told the Bees. I'd like to read more from Amanda Cox in the coming year. I'm scaling way back in goals for 2025 since I've met so few of this year's. As you've said, life sometimes throws a wrench in our plans. Happy reading!
I actually DNFed The Vanishing at Castle Moreau today. Like the book you read from Jaime Jo Wright, Castle Moreau involves ghosts and I think that's a super difficult thing to work into Christian fiction. I also had a hard time connecting with the characters/approving of their behavior a lot of the time. I don't think she's the author for me.

Thank you so much for the kind words. Will pray for you and the tough stuff you are dealing with.

I loved Old Grocery Depot, it was my first read by Amanda Cox and made me interested in more of her books.

Yes I recommend reading more Amanda Cox next year. I hope to do this too.
Fun idea for a vlog. I’ve only read the Jamie Jo Wright book, which I did like. It was interesting to hear your thoughts on these books.
Thanks for watching.

Thank you!
Congrats on 1,000 subs!!!! I've never read anything by Jamie Jo Wright and I am thinking I probably won't pick up any of her books.
Thank you. I've officially decided she's not an author for me.

Thanks for letting me know Castle Moreau also includes ghosts. I've decided she's not an author for me.
