My job search hasn’t gone well. I graduated with a Master of Science Degree in finance in December of 2020 with the goal of being a financial institutions group (FIG) investment banking analyst. I still am not there yet. But, I remain patient and focused and am still optimistic that I will get there. Thanks to all, and a great video by Toad. Keep up the focus.

Totally agree, MBA teaches finance, valuation and accounting, but not investing!
I have done BBA & after that Mcom in business administration subjects if I learn financial valuation and modeling and get certification also will I get be able to inter into equity research analyst without doing a cfa?

@@rich_toad Thanks I will. You said before even starting your mba to teach yourself all the skills by skills do you mean doing financial modeling courses for equity research?
The only reason I could see myself going back to school would be getting my JD and even that I’m not sure about. You can only learn investing by spending time in the market.
