SINGAPORE AIRLINES 737 MAX-8 | Cairns to Singapore (Economy) Trip Report

It has been a while since I made a trip report so I’m glad to be back! Also expect 5 other trip reports soon.
This is the first international flight I’ve done in 4 years and the first one I’ve made a trip report on. This is also my first time flying Singapore Airlines so it was quite the experience. Had very friendly cabin crew however no cockpit visits after the flight allowed (I think they have a policy on this as I went one 3 other SQ flights after this one and they said no on all flights). It was quite awesome being on the 737 MAX, a little too quiet for my tastes but still a good plane. Singapore Airport is very large and modern and it was awesome for the 30 minutes I was in the departure lounge for. Cairns Airport isn’t too exciting, definitely needs a renovation but brung back many memories.

Great review. I flew this route with Silk Air in a Max. I really loved the plane and the as Cairns is my closest international departure airport it fantastic for connecting to Europe.
Thanks so much! There’s a chance that you could’ve been on my plane as Silk Air’s 737 MAX’s all went to Singapore Airport. Yeah Cairns flies to Tokyo, Osaka and Singapore which are all great hubs that connect to Europe. Thanks for watching!

I flew on 737 max 8 recently, I prefer the -8 over -9
nice report mate! Though, Id suggest you to slow down your camera movements, especially when doing pans. Its a little hard to see and makes it feel like youre rushing a bit.

Awesome trip report how much was this flight?
Usually it’s around $1000 one way but I’ve seen it as cheap as $850. I still have videos to upload on this trip from Cairns to Prague. The return fare for those 3 flights was a little over $3000 per person. In total that was 6 flights for $3000.

Thanks! A lot of people have mixed opinions on flying 6-7 hours on a 737 but for me personally, I’d do it again it was still pretty comfortable.
