The instrumentation of her songs is always impeccable, original and unique. None of her songs follow a formulaic pop song trend, she always does her own thing.
Thanks for the reaction! She does indeed have a very memorable and unique voice. I think the song she is most known for (before Eminem used "Thank You" for Stan at least) is "Here with me" that was the theme song for the 90s tv show Roswell.
I Love Dido, and you sir, are always a breath of fresh air. You’re one of the few YT reactors that I would actually like to be friends with in real life.
Beautiful song! Great to see you digging her stuff (and noticing David in the vid). Love Dido and her music. She's also occasionally sung with her brother Rollo's band Faithless. Some other gems by Dido are Hunter, Here With Me, Don't Think of Me, Life for Rent and Don't Leave Home
"White Flag" is the lead single from Dido's second album, Life for Rent (2003); it peaked at #1 on various charts across Europe, hit #2 on the UK Singles Chart and climbed to #18 on the Hot 100. Now that we've gotten this one out of the way (she has more songs that are better) we can get to the good good stuff. Not to dismiss it, it's decent, but people don't dive deep enough I feel like. Please react to some other Dido songs: "Here with Me," "Hunter," "Don't Leave Home," and "Sand in My Shoes."
in the 90s they played this song and all her other songs here in Sweden and I just thought meh, unremarkable. It was only until a couple of years ago I started to appreciate her songs and I can honestly say she is one of my favorite artists, I guess I was too young to understand her
There is a unique quality to her voice for sure, something that draws you in and it's not power or range, it's kind of indefinable. Love this song for how sweet and romantic it sounds, until you realise it's actually quite sinister, brilliant. I've never seen this video either, I was like wait, is that David Boreanaz? So random, I need to find out the backstory there. Thank you, as always.❤
Dido is glorious - genuinely one of my all time favourite artists. You're right in one way that she can act as the most beautiful backing music to other situations, but if you turn her up loud, the music she crafts and layers and instrumentation are undeniable; she is an exceptional songwriter. A few recommendations from the album that White Flag acted as a lead single for (Life For Rent) would be: Stoned (my all time favourite song out of all songs ever!!), See You When You're 40, Sand In My Shoes. If you want a recent song from her; Take You Home is a standout. Her catalogue is surprisingly small for someone who has been in the business for over 20 years, but she releases music very slowly; once every 4-5 years.
Thank you for the reaction, I glad you finally heard this song... for next reactions please do one of Craig David's song especially from his "Born to Do It" album
i don´t like that song haha, so many people do reactions to that (as requested of course) but how about life for rent, hunter, here with me, see you whne you´re 40, take me home. give that a try next time if you like.
Love love love this song! It's about this lady who's still obsessed with her ex and wants him back no matter what. The lyrics is magnificent and that bridge is beautiful and sad at the same time.

Dido has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. Please give Don't Leave Home a listen.
Also, Life For Rent and Sand In My Shoes.

This is such a classic Dido number. Her voice is soothing. So glad you continue discovering her music. ❤😊

"One Step Too Far" with Faithless is a slow dancey gem, too.

Wow flashback haven't heard this in years. Eminem sampled her in Stan and she also appears in the video for it x
I love Dido so much, her voice is simple and soothing. One of my favorite's of hers is Mary's in India, well worth a listen

I love Sand in My Shoes. She’s amazing
Please do more U2 reactions!
Her collab ‘One Step Too Far’ with her brother’s band Faithless is worth checking out, more of a club track.
Who doesn't love David boreanez. Damn I am a big fan of angel even after all these yrs. Dido has an beautiful voice 🥰🥰🥰
Dido recommendations "Don't Leave Home" and "Here With Me" which is a great love song.
Great video! Dido’s tone is hypnotizing. Can you react to “Take You Home” next?? Love your channel ❤❤
Thank you!
I suggest reviewing “One Step Too Far” sung by Dido, but credited to her sister’s band named Faithless.
Her brother's band Faithless.

Bones was your fave Buffy the Vampire slayer its my fave David
Pleasee react to other Avril Lavigne music videos again 🤩😅
Can u do a reaction to Teena Marie “ if I were a bell “ live . On the Donnie Simpson show from the 80s. She’s amazing .

The only song I like from her
Dido was the epitome of 90s over production imo. She was adored by the middle classes. I find her a bit twee. Not my cuppa tea lol. x
I always found it too bland
