- qdomyos-zwift running on Android Redmi phone acting as a bridge for peloton/zwift.
Bike is a Yesoul S3 which has many built in sensors. Speed and cadence can be used with peloton and zwift with Roberto’s app!
This helped me so much!! Thank you!!
What is the phone holder you are using? Looks like maybe a car dash mount or something? Fits really well with the bike, I'd love to look into getting one.
Hi there! Wondering, where did you bought (and how you installed) smartphone mount? Thank you in advance!
This app is game changing
Does yours make any noise at all? Once I get spinning pretty good mine is making more noise than it seems like it should based upon what others report
Are you using the Peleton digital membership? I can’t see the sensors button you press, I only have options for Heart rate monitor, subtitles and google cast
Is the bike worth it after using it for so many months? Shall i go for it
Are the sensors all built-in or do i need to buy external wahoo sensors
Hi Riley dows the Yesoul app get your heart rate from you apple watch?
Or the qdomyos-zswift?
Super helpful. One question: Are you wirelessly casting your iPad screen to your TV or simply connected to your TV?
just using usb c to connect to the display. Suppose you could cast with airplay, etc
Hi.
I've read through some of the comments regarding the resistance level of this bike... Wondering if you've rode the peloton and/or echelon bikes and how the resistance on the yesoul compares - like is the yesoul max resistance 75% of pelotons?
Even if Peloton does have 25% stronger max resistance, it wouldn't be worth the price difference just for that, unless your legs are so strong that you plan on using max resistance very regularly. The resistance on this Yesoul bike is pretty damn good. I am a 37yo male who works on his feet moving around and not even at full strength, this bike gives me a good workout.
Hey, just wondering, how can i connect my iPhone to the Yesoul sport app? It doesn’t show up in Bluetooth and when I try and enter the serial number into the app it says it’s invalid
Is it possible to change the seat to a different one?
Does the bike support auto resistance level on qdomyous app?
I am not very picky but, is the bike worth it? Is it not that wobbly?
Hi Riley, thanks for doing this. I just bought a Yesoul M3 and I can't seem to do what you did. For one I can't connect the bike to the iPhone via bluetooth all I see is the Wifi connection? Is it possible if you do a follow up video for beginners. Thank you
Do you know what is the shortest distance between the edge of the front of saddle and handlebars please?
So iphone for what app ? Ipad is for peloton or zwift right ?
I don’t know much about the peloton app. Does it only allow you to see cadence in a live class? Or is this a setting in the app?
I would like to know if the resistance of the bike, which is shown in the app, shows on Zwift the correct Watts.
I think so.. I don’t have the pedal with power output so can’t really compare the watts the bike is reporting
Hello from France
I’ve just received my Yesoul S3 thanks for your post and comments. Really helps me. I will change the pedals too and I will try to check in future for increase resistance. Thanks also for the post talking about putting some scratch for stop the mouvements.
I will like to know about the support for the phone on the bike I think I’ll need also. What kind of holder you used please? Sorry for my poor English. Have a nice day guys
Do you still enjoy your yesoul?
What type of pedals did you switch to?
Thanks for the awesome video! I am thinking of purchasing this bike and connecting it the same way. Would you say the ride is relatively smooth and good for HIIT workouts considering the flywheel is only 7.5 kg?
Awesome Bike...German engineering
Thank you man!
Hi Roberto, thanks for the amazing work!
I’m going to purchase a yesoul bike but going to keep the bucks as much as possible.. so i’m going to get Yesoul M1 instead of S3.. do you think M1 will also give all of the sensors data just like S3 does?
@@toksinc i don't know, but of course i will help you in case of issues!
Is this fix also working if I have an iPhone? Or only Android
@@weichselstr3353 yes it works on ios too!
@@Cagnulein i just need to open the app in a phone, and then that phone connect it to the peloton app and that’s it? Or I need to configure something else? :)
Hi. Thanks for the Information. How do you receive the resistance.? Thank you
Does it only work for android + iPad combo? I'm trying iPhone + iPad and the iPad doesn't find any trackers even though qdomyos app is running (and feeding from the bike) on the iPhone
shoot, Android to Android doesn't work for me...well Samsung to Samsung.. I have to use Kindle/Samsung
What phone Mount is this? A lot of others have asked the same thing in the comments.
Hi, do you send speed data zwift. My speed data in app and zwift does not match and I can't find any solution.
Can you connect garmin watch to application? I have garmin forerunner and my watch dont sens sensors on bike
Not sure if it would work with a garmin watch.
What kind of phone holder attachment is that
Does the bike comes with cleats? Or may you change the pedals to have them?
No it doesn’t, you would need to order new pedals
@@ianmcleish8084 Great Thanks for your answere. Are they standard? any concrete model that is valid so I check the sizes?
What’s the size of ur iPad Pro? Does iPad Pro 12.9 inch fit on the mount?
I also have the Yesoul S3. My tablet is exactly 25.8 cm wide and fits perfect.
I have also the Sesoul S3 can I use the app with an Apple Watch and a iPhone or two iPhones to connect the bike with zwift?
Yes, you can connect to apple watch as HRM, iphone, and ipad.
Any update?
Does anybody knows if the app works with OVICX Q200? Thanks
I just bought one. It's very quiet. It will not make any noises.
can't change km to miles on the qdomyos app. Says to reboot the app. I stop it and start it and it goes back to km instead of miles.
So you didn't need to change the pedals to get it to work with zwift? Can you do an explanation of how you set this all up?
the yesoul and Mekbelt are Bluetooth spin bikes that transmit power without changing pedals.
please, because I want to buy it and I'm interested in what is the shortest distance in cm between the saddle and the handlebars, can you check and tell me?
Can I connect a chest HRM to the app while it’s connected to the Yesoul bike?
yes you can
What kind of phone mount are you using?
I’m wondering the same thing! Thanks
Wondering the same
How do you like this bike? I am concerned that magnetic resistance with 7,5 kg flywheel would not provide enough resistance.. what is your opinion? Thanks.
It's pretty good... resistance is pretty heavy above 90%. Was concerned about that as well. Figure should be a good bike for a year or two and then try to pick up a used echelon or peloton post COVID when people unload spin bikes. Quality wise it seems really well made. The rolly wheels suck though.. i replaced them with 64mm rollerblade wheels which makes it functional to move around.
Hi Flex, I purchased one of these from Ali express pre xmas.. great value for the money. Coupe of small items . Saddle and bar stems needs to be really tight. and resistance is a tad low in lower percentage. I am however looking at increasing magnets to induce added Eddy current, hopefully giving more resistance. I can see some space behind current magnets to place additional .. More to come , so fingers crossed as feel this small change would make it near on perfect.
@@bully8711 Oh let me know how it goes with extra magnets. I used loctite blue when i put it all together to keep things tight once assembled.
@@swagdotca hi Riley, took the chance and ordered 5 neodymium magnets 15mm square 3mm thick. Carefully dismantled bike arm that holds magnets , and then used heat glue gun to add three of the magnets in North and then south polarity, same as what current magnet are set. So results are 3 extra magnets makes a significant difference . Would say 75 resistance now would have been 85-90. Early days yet, only concern I have is if any of the magnets detach. But seem to be very secure .. hope this helps ,
@@johnb6982 any chance you can post a photo of the how you set them?
Could I use ifit app?
Is your iPad holder part of your bike or after market?
It comes with the bike itself.
How tall r u? I am 6feet2 can i buy it?
Thinking in purchasing a heart monitor. someone has one that works with the bike? Seemd need to be bluetoth but I have a Garmin bluetoh heart rate monitor here and seems not working. (It is detected by my phone but not by the yesoul app)
yes you could connect with hrm band or just use some smartband like mi band or even samsung watch are fine
can the pedals be switched out for SPD? is the size 9/16"?
I think it's standard pedal thread. Ordered a pair of Look pedals but they haven't arrived as of yet.
Added look pedals without any issue
I own S3 bike and I changed the pedals to spd shimano as soon as I got the bike. The pedals that come with the bike are average quality and changing pedals is a must in my opinion ...
@@Samiorpio Which spd shimano model did you used? I am getting the bike soon but not sure which pedals are compatible with the bike...Thanks!
The tablet mount can fit ipad pro 12.5?
11 inch max
Hello, I purchased a 2020 Yesoul S3 and I can only connect the yesoul app via bluetooth.
The problem is that the zwift app on iphone xs max, ipad air and macbook pro doesn't recognize the bike at all.
It is always looking but does not find any bluetooth device. Did you solve the situation with this app? I would appreciate if someone could help me.
I have the same problem
How you place your phot there?
what's application in your Ipad?
The peloton app on the ipad
Yesoul's website states that S3 is zwift compatible, do we need such app still ?
Yes it is Zwift compatible, but not Peloton compatible. So if you want to do the Peloton app classes, then the qdyomo app is necessary. But if you only want to connect to Zwift, then it will pick up the bike's sensors.
@@mikeb8930 Hi Mike, Olaf here. Do you happen to know how to connect to Zwift with the bike? I don't know what to choose in Zwift but apart from that I've tried every option in the Ride section, but it doesn't find my bike for some reason. BT works since it does work with the standard Yesoul app. Thanks for your trouble. Olaf
@@mikeb8930 thank you for this info. This was exactly what I need for my Yesoul S3 for Peloton & Zwift :)
Hi, does this still work?
Can it with with Apple fitness
Yes it's supposed to connect to fitness+ with the qdomyos app.
Does it save the data
Yes, qdomyoszwift will also upload it direct to strava now if you authorize it.
Have you gotten it to save data to Strava?
Yeah Roberto added a feature to auto save to Strava when you save the fit file.. works great
Im not sure how to connect my bike with well.. anything. Its not letting me connect it to my laptop or my phone(with the swift apps, that is) its giving me an option to connect with types of the bike im assuming (like heart rate or so) but the connection fails. I assume im doing someting wrong here or using the wrong apps, anyone got a solution?
You need to download the app, and then should be work. By the way, is the bike worth it?
The S3 is a good bike for the price ... I own the S3 and so far have been very happy with it's build quality ... I have posted a review on this in FB Peloton digital app users page with some photos ...
Hey, any hints how to connect Zwift to Yesoul S3. It doesn’t recognize the PowerMeter, no device can be found ( and yes I pedal).
your yesoul s3 bike -> qdomyos-zwift app (buy it on app store/google play) -> zwift. qdomyos-zwift app acts as the power meter for the zwift. so you need 2 phones/devices. 1 for qdomyos, 1 for zwift app
@@toksinc great. Works with Zwift now, but still not with Peleton. It doesn‘t connect to the App. So my phone doesn‘t show up when I try to add it in the Peleton app. Thanks in advance
@@toksinc hope you can help. Thanks
@@dekki01 i believe you could contact roberto the developer thru email. because i was actively discussing with him when i got problems with the app. he obviously will help you to solve the problem. sorry can't help because i didn't use the app for peloton
yesoul's seat and handle are shaky. it's the suckiest thing ever
Are you sure you tightened both the handle and circular fitting? Mine is super tight.
mine is fine
Just an instructor on the display screen? Kinda dumb. Should have instead a POV of a road path just like car racing games have.
