    Fantastic review. I do have a question on your experiences with this bike. How’s the resistance? I’ve had my eye on this bike for some time. But I’ve been hesitant to pull the trigger due to the light flywheel. I know somewhat of a general average is 25-30lbs and I think this runs 16.5lbs. My worry is not having enough resistance. I’m not pro cyclist but I’m fairly avid to cycling and spinning, and I’d hate to get something that dosent have enough. Love you hear your experiences.
    Thank you,

    • @preludedriven
      @preludedriven  2 года назад +5

      The magnetic resistance on this bike is good. I can ramp it up for full out-of-the-saddle sprint efforts. Yes, the flywheel is quite light, but due to the high ratio that the flywheel spins at, it has a good inertia feel.

    • @preludedriven

      Both are just about even in general IMO. Each of the bikes has something different to offer. I like the free spin, higher gear ratio, Q-Factor design, tablet holder, saddle and seat post better on the Yesoul. I like the long crank arm length, fore/aft handlebars, heavier flywheel, resistance knob placement better on the IC4.

      I too have been curious about the M1. Specs aren't available on the website, but other than it being fully enclosed vs the open S3 design, it does also have a belt-driven lightweight flywheel with magnetic resistance, as well as Bluetooth Connectivity. I do like the bottle holders better on the M1, but otherwise, they seem pretty similar.

    • @preludedriven
      @preludedriven  2 года назад +2

      Hello, the magnetic resistance is good on this bike. Even though the flywheel is on the light side of the spectrum, the ratio is much higher than other bikes, which helps to generate inertia. I have owned spin bikes with 40+ LB flywheels that had a very low ratio, which did not generate very good inertia...it's all about the combination of the two factors as a whole. Thanks!

    Don't buy it. As with everything that comes from China, there's always a catch. They tell you that you can ride the bike and use basic health tracking. You only pay for the special spinning classes. But after 3 months, the regular "just ride" goes away and you are now with a big bike that won't tell you a thing if you don't pay a subscription. Yes, even for the "just ride option" if you want to keep track of your mileage, rpm, etc, you have to pay. Feels like a fraud, cause when I bought it they said that the regular ride was going to be free. They do not specify a time limit. They just force you to update the app at some point, and you are screwed.
