It’s a great implementation. Unfortunately the Force doesn’t send incoming program changes and other commands like sysex through. Seems filtered or something
Exactly what I was looking for, just a question... I try to use this on my Uno Pro X, it loads the presets but it goes a bit to slow, I programmed some patterns on both but it stays for a beat in the old sound preset, is there a setting or is the synth to slow loading?
Program Changes are working like that unfortunately. The force sends out the program Change on the beginning of the bar. The synth takes up a few milli seconds to switch so that is indeed noticeable. What I mostly do is have dummy clips with the program changes and set the launch quantization to none. Then you can trigger the program change whenever you want
@@Expectaz Yes that was something I figured. The weird thing is it happens on MIDI clock, when I switch to MTC It's going fast but then my sequencer doesn't run... I will go with the dummy now. Thanks for the help anyway. Keep up the good work.
@ That’s interesting! When I have some time I will explore this a little deeper. On the other hand synths do take some time switching presets and dummy clips are still needed. For example I like to sync up the Elektron boxes and they require to send the PC a little early
@Expectaz Actually I wouldn't, even if the bugs are really frustrating, I need to send my one back to NI, I used it for two months, since last week the M+ is making problems as hell, it doesn't want to start either 😂and freezing in the loading screen, oh god 😂 But I mean for live performance the Force should be definitely better, if you even have a program change functionality for each clip or scene, this is amazing, I really miss it on the M+
Ah that sucks! Hope you’ll get it sorted soon with NI. I still have a maschine mk2 and jam stored in the boxes. Been years since I’ve used them so not sure if program changes are possible per scene. It’s definitely a gamechanger if it would

Thank you for this video. It is very helpful for my setup. I got a Yamaha MX49 keyboard and I use midi list to pull up my sounds.

Awesome man!
I haven't used this function yet, am going to be getting my setup happening again in the next few weeks. Will be using this for sure. 👍
Bonus tip: set the filter to MPC or LP and play with the envelopes. Good to hear you getting set up again!
Thanks! Very helpful!
Thanks Josh!!
Thank you very much!! very good video👋👋👋👋👋👋
Thanks! This trick isn’t known to everyone so I wanted to just go out and show it. Have some other ideas that will follow soon
@@Expectaz thank so much Expectaz 🙏
Thank you!😁🙌
Thanks Twinny!! Just got a new wireless mic that I wanted to test and this video was requested a lot from fellow forcers :)
PERFECT ! 🔥
Thanks!!
Thank you so much!
Hey Maria! This is very useful for longer sets and to keep your sounds organized
Thankyou!
You too for watching! This function has really helped me with all my endeavors 😁

Wow, I think I found the video, which will bring me throwing away my Maschine+ for buying the Akai Force 😂
I think the maschine is also a very cool machine! Not sure if I would throw it away
