Hi Alex, long time no chat hope you're keeping well. Glad you enjoyed the comparison, I have tried the gamo match and they aren't bad at all. I do think the H&N are a little better quality and a similar price too
Hey man 🤙🏽 I once used 8.1g wcs with an old B1 with a slight power tune and the cheapest Riflescope 4x20. 80% headshots on sparrows (to feed the cats) all day long. 10 to 18m distances. Gun was shooting slow but smooth and true and the impact trauma due to surface area and weight of the pellet was awesome. Felt like shooting an ugly Hw30 lol have fun!!!
@@African-Budget-Pellet-Gunner Haha yeah. If you the Budget Airgunner then I'm the Broke Airgunner. Just use whatever I can get my hands on and make that sh@t work.
I'm not sure if they still make them but the Gamo Magnum Energy (yellow banner) are the perfect balance between impact and penetration at short distances. Well designed pellet for the job, they just hit different.
That's interesting and not what I would expect. The other day I put a Crosman Destroyer against an RWS pointed alloy. The destroyer mangled the water bottle a lot more. On a seperate test I couldn't find differences in penetration. But on the water bottle test they both made pass-throughs.
Yes, the wadcutter really does well to dump it's energy but it does have it's limitations in terms of range, I wouldn't stretch it much further than 20m
@@African-Budget-Pellet-Gunner thanks! I'm hunting mice with an air rifle that's right on the edge of acceptable power so I'm trying to figure out which pellet is the best. I keep going back & forth on domed vs destroyer. I may have to do a meat target to make the final decision.
Wadcutters surr can give a bit of an advantage to allow less pass through near buildings but it doesn't seem to make as big of a difference as most people think 🤔 6:47 _😬😬😬_
B.c in diablo is better so best for longer distances with heavier pellets. Wadcutters dump more energy in shorter distances due to surface area of its head but lose speed much faster over longer distances due to b.c
Nice! You can try hn terminator expansion in low power gun and maybe hn baracuda hunter extreme and hn crow magnum whitch is best in low/normal/high powered airguns?

Daisy wad-cutters at close range or devastating they have almost like a hollow-point just under the wad cutter
I will need to perhaps try some of those
@@African-Budget-Pellet-Gunner super cheap and fairly accurate at close range devastating mushroom effect you got to check it out
And are surprisingly accurate for the very low cost!
Fun experiment! I have a video in editing shooting my 25 caliber pcp at water cans
I used h&n crow magnums and the energy dump was substantial
With this testing, the sound doesn't come across Clearly on the video but you can hear the thump of the wadcutters is more substantial

For wadcutters I have been using the Gamo Pro Match. Pretty decent accuracy and a budget price.
I find the Gamo a trifle light for my CP2. A target pistol pellet but travel a little too fast and over the optimum
One definitely needs to find what works best in your barrel. The wadcutters though definitely prefer the lower end of the speed range
Very nice testing with very good information. Thanks Tyrone. 😌👊

When they hit they do give more of a thump but due to the low speeds it won't have significant expansion but definitely more than a dome
Hi Tyrone what fps is your cp2 shooting.
Currently I only have the 5mm spacer in the hammer on this CP2 and it is around 525-535fps in .22
Thanks.
Hope it helps, keep well Phil
Very nice testing🔥
Thanks Maleek glad you enjoyed it
how better de bc is ,how less powerdump in the target and more penetration you get
@peteralexben sorry not sure I understand your comment

Wcs are like hollow points with much less b.c by design but the design also means it is already expanded, if I'm making sense 😜
