Great video, I don't have a 3D printer so I just bought the part...the instructions were great but when I installed the new pump it did not work at first. I had to prime the pump by pulling off the two outflow lines and letting it bleed for a little bit. After replacing the tubes back on the pump it worked perfectly. Thanks for posting this video.

@@TrevEvans Yeah, I didn't order any because I repaired mine with the 3D printer component and it worked. However, I put the links to the two pumps that would fit into the description of the video. Check them out and see if it would suit yours.

Great visuals. I just tried to take off the fender well clips the hard way. Not good. All I need is a $1500 dollar 3-d printer. I would have super glued the split and squeezed it in the vise, but it probably would not have survived the re-installation without the sleeve you made.

Thank you for this. Mine started leaking this week. Would you be willing to share the stl file for your printed part. I haven’t looked at mine yet but I would assume the cause is likely similar
    Thanks

Unfortunately, I didn't save the STL file because it was such an easy piece to design. From memory, it was simply a 10mm diameter opening that I made 1mm thick, and around 15 long with a tapered end. I just measured the outlet with my callipers and it was a perfect fit first go. Hope that helps at least. :)

I Have been Doing Nothing But Car Repairs On My Sons Car And Wife's Car. Maybe Yo Could Hit The Junk Yards and Get A Used 1. I have been Teaching My Son How To Go To Junk Yards And get parts Way Cheaper. you Could Have Put Some Silicone Also.

That's great teaching your son! Yeah, I could have sourced these parts from the wreckers, but I definitely am enjoying seeing what I can do with 3d printing 👌

As cool as that was, I'm wondering if some shrink-fit like used on wiring wouldn't have done it. I was actually hoping the leak was in the tank; trying to figure out what's holding it from the top...

What are the specs of the piece you printed. I have that same crack.
