  • The podcast episode explores the contentious issue of gender dynamics within the Black community, specifically focusing on criticism between Black men and women. The host brings up the perceived double standard where Black women can openly criticize Black men, sometimes harshly, without facing the same backlash men do when they critique women. The conversation touches on historical and social contexts, with both sides discussing personal experiences and broader societal trends. They emphasize the importance of mutual accountability and understanding, arguing that both men and women need to hold each other and themselves accountable for their actions and words. The episode concludes with a call to stop the mutual bashing and instead promote positive examples and hold toxic behaviors accountable.

She was controlling the no-go words of the discussion. By 05:43 minutes she restricted the producers from using two words. She should have been ejected from the show after that second attempt at speech control. A guest should let the producers know beforehand if they have any no-go words before appearing on the show.

Ever since slavery our community has been a matriarch. This dynamic has regulated the black man to second class status in a community he was supposed to be the head of. Sisters will probably never understand, that their unwillingness to submit to strong black male leadership will only be the continuing detriment of our community.

Black women have been bashing black men for over 60 years now. And we haven’t said anything since I would say 2010s RUclips days. That’s when it started.
