- In this video we are reviewing the stunning locs of Ava Duvernay. Sometimes I get a request for a review and I need to get into some research since I do not know that much about them. As I was researching Ava Duvernay I instantly felt inspired and intrigued by her as a director and allround talented human being. She started her own agency at age 27 and picked up a camera for the first time at age 32 and has been wildly successful with it without any classical training. Today we are reviewing her great locs!
On TPL Locs (that pineapple life locs) we review dreadlocks from people all over the world. We do videos on loc journey's, dreads in different cultures and reactions to (black) hair in the media.

I love how her locs look. I think the major difference with Ava and other people that you've reviewed is that she really has a low maintenance regimen. Nothing fancy just letting her hair be and no extensive dyeing or too much elaborate hairstyles and things like that. And then we all see her locs getting longer over the years. I'm inspired 😍😍
Lol I'm watching this while retwisting my locs😊🔥love your work
haha yaas thats amazing. Thanks for watching Millenial Girl!
I’m super inspired right now. Black women are amazing. ❤Really love the back ground history of her journey.
Her locs are beautiful
Beautiful Ava Duvernay
Love the review... still love to order a hoodie or a T-shirt if possible.
Thanks Tony! The link will be posted this week to order ☺️😎
Liked before i watched because I love her!
I found a pic of her she looked about 9 and her curl pattern looked like a 3a 3b type. Then there's another pic of her as an adult with twists in her hair and it looked more 3c. And according to www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/ava-duvernay-25-things-you-dont-know-about-me/
she started her locs in March 2004. So Yeah. I know I sound like a stalker but I just wanted to answer your question about her hair type and when she started her locs.
Enjoyed the facts about this lady!
