Glad you guys are pumping out the videos again Being that it is Chico. I personally would like to see you guys show some dui enforcement stops with field sobriety tests. If possible, show what the booking process is like in the jail. But loved this vlog and I can’t wait to catch the next!
This was very enlightening. I would be interested in more of these types of ride alongs. Also, I have heard about civilians doing this, too. I would do this to get another perspective. Thank you for taking the time to post this.
@@chicopolicedepartmentcalif2995 I would think that anytime a civilian accompanies a police officer during a shift on patrol they share the danger that comes with this line of work. Could you please specify a time in which a civilian on a patrol ride-along would not need to be provided with a bullet resistant vest?
@@EddieLeal vests are expensive and they are not a guarantee. You sign a release. If you feel the need for a vest, you don’t have to go on the ride along. Sure the danger is there, but it is not the same as shared by the officer since the officer is handling the calls, the ride along stays in the vehicle. So the ride along can be several hundred yards away from anything the officer is dealing with. There is not really a need for a ride along to have a vest. Since it would require the department o purchase several of different sizes to have to different body styles that may ride along. Also there maybe a ride along once or twice a month. So spending 1500-2500 for a vest to hardly get used is a waste of funds that can be used somewhere else in the department.
You need to have a tweeker page like alot of other places. People see relatives on drugs and at least know what they look like and what condition they are in.
Right lol the dude is so fucking old he didn’t even think that was a wrong thing to do. Bro was so unhealthy and barely can get out the car but cop all worried he’s going to reach something. Cops clock in and forget that they used to have old people in their lives and how a lot of them are harmless. That young ass cop thought he was gonna get beat up or what. All that extra shit
It’s a college town, late night a lot of drunk drivers on the road. That’s an indicator of it and way to see. If you’re sober they’ll let you off with a warning
I want to see the homeless predators that are robbing our local markets and creating an unsafe experience while getting groceries, gas and other services. Tax payers have a right to not be harassed by endless pan handling ! Stop kicking the public in the teeth and do something about the homeless scourge ! By doing nothing you are letting the homeless dictate how good tax payers must re-think a trip to the store.
Awesome. Keep them coming.
I will pray for your safety, thank you for your service.
Thank you!
This is so sickk. Officer is damn good at his job. Love it
I'm a good read of character and the first guy passed my vibes check. Blew my mind this officer picked up on something i totally missed. Good work
I think PIO DeLeon gave me a ticket a few weeks ago. It had her description on the citation, it said “FINE”. 😍

It depends on the situation

@@EddieLeal you sign a waiver releasing liability. If you don't sign that waiver, you aren't allowed to ride along. Clear enough?
@@EddieLeal you can get shot going to the store bubba

Specialty Unit ride along? Maybe gangs, k9, or Sgt? Stay Safe!
Jeez, can nobody at that dept afford razor blades?
4 cops for a headlight out? The courageousness of these heros is breathtaking
Public information officer is beautiful !!
🐷
Chico PD stay harassing people. Aint nothing good ever come out this town.
Crossing over a double yellow line, is a weak traffic stop.
Weak? I see so only super dangerous offenses only right.
