Oh, my goodness - I am so proud to see Joseph in this video! He and my son Connor were best friends at Lost Mountain Middle School; the last time I saw him, he was a teenager! This sort of work, serving his community, has been Joseph's heart since he was very young, and I could not be happier to see him fulfilling his dreams - while also keeping the community safe. Needless to say, he also happens to have amazing parents who raised him to be the exception young man (grown man!) he is today. Thanks for looking out for us, Joseph; I am VERY proud of you!
I appreciate the effort to connect with the community by posting your day to day duties, and the effort to protect the community through ensuring drivers follow speed limits. I will admit I have a bias against these types of police because I often see city copy speed right on past me even if I'm already doing 5 over the limit. I know you guys aren't them, but I'm sure you could see why I would associate the activities of one group of police to another. In an effort to clear my bias against police as a responsible citizen, I wanted to make my thoughts as clear as you make your activities so maybe you can see where citizens mindsets are coming from as well. Though, I THOROUGHLY understand there is an overwhelming amount of bad guys out there you guys deal with on a daily basis. I ask for you guys to remember not all of us are bad, and I will do my best to dissolve the idea that all cops are bad. Thank you for your service.
@@CobbCountyPoliceDepartment he’s my best friends dad. I know he has a lot of experience I think it would be cool to hear some of his stories and see what his day looks like.
That depends on what you want to do. Cobb Police primary duty is emergency response and criminal investigations. Cobb Sheriff primary duty is adult detention and warrant service. Both play a crucial role in public safety but are also vastly different.
I would love for you to elaborate how exactly tax dollars are funding the posting of a youtube channel? Can't say it's because of the job, because even if they weren't recording for RUclips, they would be doing the same work. So where would extra money be being spent in the creation of these videos? Goober
1 of my best friends moved to Kenesaw GA from NH. I visit him as much as I can. I can confirm GA drivers (metro Atlanta area) are the absolute worst I've seen. The amout of ignorant decisions made by the drivers in the area is beyond belief.
ok as a parent i know child seats ARE NOT governed by the age of the child but the height and weight of the child. which most times as it did for my youngest son who had to remain in a booster seat (unhappily) until he was 7. works against the parents . Spirit of the law the cop is morale correct but letter of the law he is mistaken. not wrong but mistaken there is a difference.
I personally don't think he should have let her leave with a 17-month-old in a booster seat! That child might as well just be sitting on the seat. I think he understated the seriousness of the situation. In a crash, that child would most likely die. Then the mom is going to sue Cobb County for "allowing her to leave with her child in such an unsafe state."
Make a video of Cobb police targeting drivers for playing on the phone, not going when the light turns green, camping in the left lanes instead of keeping right except to pass, driving under the speed limit causing congestion and danger, etcetera, etcetera. It's time to wake people up and hurt some feelings by targeting the real dangerous drivers. Or just keep sitting on side of the road with your speed detector doing the bottom feeder easy stuff...
Give Officer Morgan a raise! 😊 What a fantastic police officer! So proud to have our Cobb officers to serve and protect the community!
He's a great officer.

I was always empressed with the Georgia State police high speed pursuit driving course the finest in the world
Awesome cops, taking an educational approach, at least in this video.
Great video
Thanks for posting.
Y'all could clean up on Lost Mountain Rd, between Macland and Dallas Hwy!
That is a race track
Awesome episode!
Thanks for the support.
Do y’all have any recent videos about CCJ because I’d definitely like to comment on how bad it is and certain sheriffs deputy’s in particular are.
Our guys in blue are dedicated and highly trained to protect and serve the public.
Thank you
Great video as always.. And I'm not sure if "Road Pirate" is his favorite name. LOL.....
Had to throw a curve ball at him. He handled it well.
Dragon eye gun lethal one
What kind of watch is he wearing
Wondering if you would happen to have an age limit for your department?
There is no age limit just an age minimum of 21 or 19.5 if prior military or police
the background song is annoying
I’m ready to join.

Do a ride along with Sgt.Moore next!
Why Sgt Moore? We can see if he would be interested.

whats better cobb police or cobb sheriff?

Very little/no money spent on building better connections with the community they work for. Id say its worth it.
Does this not help bridge the gap between law enforcement and the community? Transparency, right?
@@ethanfogarty9540I don't see a problem with police you tube channels
Is this Georgia?

i hate that i keep hearing step unit and have no idea what that means...
