    Had a delivery in London last month, satnav brought me here (which was frustrating due to my schedule). I enjoyed it, it was fun and my first time on a Ferry.

    Wow so cool! I like how they have train barriers and lights for the bridge crossing

    The first alarm at the end sounded like baggage claim at the airport. Then it sounded like 2 different alarms! Interesting and unusual!

    This is rather peculiar, especially with the barrier going down before the wigwags even came on?? Nice Video.

      I too was baffled by this... Traditionally; it 'normally' goes, amber > wig-wag THEN barriers lower. I also note the right set activated independently before the left one...
      At the end of the day; the safety systems all seem to be working well, regardless of the wig-wags.

      @RileysTransportVideos Yeah it is quite weird. It appears the barriers and warning lights (wigwags) are operated independently of each other.

      @SouthLightFX Yeah, all the lights are used for is to stop traffic from entering the ramps when there's no ferry.

    How these bridge-crossings work are really good! Plus the bell sounds are nice as well!

    Makes you wonder with that amount of time it takes surely it'd be quicker to drive to the nearest bridge lol

    • @UKLevelCrossingsChannel
      @UKLevelCrossingsChannel  Год назад

      Especially with one ferry running, it would seem like it's worth driving to another crossing point. However the nearest crossing point which is the Blackwall Tunnel gets quite congested, particularly during rush-hour. So for some it's easier to wait for the ferry.
