Meeting someone you met online is one of the most wholesome feelings ever… 3 years ago my fam and I took a vacation to Destin, Florida and I remembered my online friend said he lived in a town close by so I messaged him asking if he was close to the hotel we stayed at. He said the bar he worked at was about 2 miles away from the hotel so I ended up walking to the bar and meeting him. Ended up chillin with him at the bar for a few hours (free drinks), went to the beach across the street from the hotel I was at, and he had a small get together/party with about 10 people for me 🥺 it was by far my favorite vacation just for that experience.

I was probably 13 years old jus playing the game with the friends i played with… never knew where any of these ppl lived and vice versa. one day we just ask each other. come to find out one of the guys literally lived a city over. went to meet him a couple weeks later and till this day he is still my best friend and my go to gaming buddy he no longer lives in the same state but we still treat other like brothers

I used to play CoD with this girl all the time, I didn't look at her bio for months but finally noticed it was my same city. I bring it up to her, turns out we have a shit ton of mutual friends irl. She thought it was so bizarre, she never talked to me again. True story.

This happened to me once. It is so scary and wholesome at the same time when you meet someone from the internet out of the blue. He remembered my face and name, and he showed his old picture he used for the chat. We caught up a little and went our ways but it was nice to know how the other was doing.
Happened to me once at work where I met this girl who was in the same fucked up facebook group I was in the elevator.

After 5 years of gaming with friends I met online we finally met in person. When I first saw them I could not fathom that they were the people I had been gaming with for 5 years. It was the weirdest feeling to have met someone you know so well but had never seen IRL.

I've experienced this, I used to play an MMO called black desert and we had a really solid guild and we became friends over the years one day we set up a meeting and I gotta say it does feel kinda weird finally putting the faces into the voices and names that you've been talking to for years, but after a few minutes of chit chat it feels kinda normal cuz you immediately realize that they have the same personality online and irl. Some of the people from the guild I am still regularly talking with today even when I haven't played the game for over 2years.

My husband met his long time gaming friend in 2018. Such a beautiful experience, one of the BEST trips of my life, and we’ve kept the bond to this day.
