I think those people were saying that in the context of their own country which is much much different than Japan. I can say for certain I might face 25% chance of geting ganged up by the creeps if I did that where I live. I've seen some people complain that he's to nice to potential stalkers and creeps, but thats the best way to go about it. It makes it much less likely they will become upset and hostile. Saving the girls from the guy is all that matters not picking a fight with them in the middle of the city.

@@ekid4149 Some "clubs" in japan literally have "scouts" that roam the streets looking for (mainly foreign) potential customers, they then hype up the club and promise all sorts of things. Then hand you an outrageous bill that you basically have to pay because you agreed to it so you could actually get in trouble with the police for not paying. In the most brutal of those type of places, you could potentially be beaten and robbed blind and tossed out in the street. It's not super common, but it's something to keep an eye out for no matter what country you're in. These sorts of scams exist all over the world.

When someone is at their low, they are the most vulnerable to these acts, sometimes just a small deed may matter to that person more than anything else. In this world of distrust, it may be hard to believe in this, but it’s only possible to be done by those who still have faith in humanity. To be fair, Japan is a pretty safe country overall, more people should do things like this, but sadly not enough do. I think the best part is the wingman situation because he isn't imposing himself in situations he doesn't seem to understand. I've seen some people complain that he's to nice to potential stalkers and creeps, but thats the best way to go about it. It makes it much less likely they will become upset and hostile. Saving the girls from the guy is all that matters not picking a fight with them in the middle of the city.

In the most brutal of those type of places, you could potentially be beaten and robbed blind and tossed out in the street. It's not super common, but it's something to keep an eye out for no matter what country you're in. These sorts of scams exist all over the world.

@@AgentMulder120 I don’t think he actually is genuinely being friendly, but more-so glaring at them and showing his distaste would just escalate the situation. Creeps like that don’t just change because one guy glared at them, and as both a live-streamer and a foreigner in another country he has to be extra careful to not get violent.
