Camino de Santiago and Finisterre - Documentary Film

- This film documents the precise, minute detail journey of the people on the Camino de Santiago and the Camino de Finisterre in 2015 and their experience, whether spiritual or physical, across 1000 km of northern Spain. Although I am providing narratives or storytelling of events, thoughts, feelings and observations I simply represent all people walking el Camino.
A chief theme of a narrative is whether people walking el Camino are pilgrims or trekkers. Is a pilgrimage seeking something missing inside of ourselves?
The film also shows constant changes taking place in nature and within us while walking el Camino and enduring hardship through unknown physical challenges on the way.
- I' m enjoing and imagining how it wood be to me... Thank you for share!
Gratidão por compartilhar. Relembrando meus caminhos.
¡BUEN CAMINO PEREGRINO!
I am doing the same journey May 3 to June 17, 2024. This will be my second Camino as I have walked the Portuguese Coastal in 2023. I thank you for your well done documentary and your inspiration. Buen Camino
Me and my daughter are doing this Camino the end of May 2024, thank you for sharing you journey and insight along the way. I’ve watched a few of these videos and yours is my favorite.

Do it, you will not be alone. I did it alone and it was awesome for me....
Nalutia, la parte más importante del Camino y la más hermosa, el paso por Galicia y su capital Santiago de Compostela, la pasas en un abrir y cerrar de ojos. Nohas comprendido lo que representa Galicia y Compostela. Una pena.
🥰💯
Great review.
Guessing it's true; life teaches us lessons...bring 2 or 3 pairs of good hiking shoes.... .
It was very nice to see some of the towns along your path.
What is the amount of days it takes for the average hiker to walk the same path you took; 30 days?
You started in May and the weather was cold and very windy. What month do many of you suggest is best when it's not too hot or too cold, or does it make no difference when to hike? What season is preferred is what I am asking...
I would like to do it. I don't want to have a purpose. I want to know what I feel as I walk and challenge myself. Whatever comes, comes. How will I feel in the beginning as compared to the end of the hike.
Well, I keep hearing how life teaches us lessons....just do the walk and experience whatever comes to you while you walk.
I see people of all ages walking this pilgrimage. How old is the oldest individual that might attempt this hike if they are relatively healthy?
07Mar2023..I may have seen this a year or so ago, but it popped up again, so here I am watching again. I have always wanted to do this...but I don't know. I think I can do this but not alone.
What is the name of the Albergue you stayed in in Villar de Mazarife? The one with the nice courtyard where you had a rest day and did your laundry outside?
My wife and I completed this Camino in 2015, was fantastic to get to the last marker 0.00 ks ! but then decided to carry on to Muxia ! a time in our lives we will never forget. We were aged 65 and me 66 years young, we have contemplated doing the Portugal Camino but of course Covid put paid to many adventures, we completed over 1000 ks in fifty days taking all the hardest routes, Buen Camino !
