I think that the battery status number is stuck a at 100%. It shows the same thing on my phonr even though other apps, like battery guru, estimate a nukber closer to 90%.

@@Protobeans69Well the way it works is it tests the actual charge accepted Vs design capacity. If you haven't had a charge cycle yet where you've allowed the phone discharge a decent amount and then recharge it, it won't know how much the battery will actually accept. This principle is actually how all those other apps work as well. Over time, the phone will recognise when the battery stops charging, it will compare it to design capacity and then give you a number. So come back in a day or two and hopefully it updates. Otherwise, it simply isn't in a working state right now
I think it's more likely that the indicator works fine, but it compares the remaining life to the advertised battery capacity. Most units have around 2% to 3% more battery capacity than advertised when they are new.
Google should bring back the notification badges as they were some years ago. If you remove a notification from the main panel the badge counter disappears even though you have unread messages. So confusing and annoying

It's inaccurate. I believe the full bug report actually has accurate battery war level based on charge capacity. For context: pixel 7 rated at 4355mAh full charge value was around 4600 and after a year with 300 battery charge cycles the full charge capacity is 4000mAh so wear level would be 87%.
The battery health on my pixel 7 seems to have an issue and doesn't show the right info, it's shows battery health 0%, manufacture date August 2022 but first use date dec 2020, and it shows cycle count 0 when I've been using the phone for about 12 months now

No, degradation starts on the first cycle itself. The 500-cycle rating is just a standard. And it also depends on how aggressively you use your phone's battery, and the ambient conditions, etc.

Record a video, zoom in to an object, going from 1x and pass the telephoto zoom. Replay the video, does your object you're focusing on appear off centered? Cos mine certainly does... If Samsung had their own OS, One UI would be way less innovative. They manufacture a ton of phone models, so they would have to divide their design resources between base OS function and user facing UI features. They would likely also have to dramatically slash the number of devices they produced to make it feasible.

In my case it's more likely that the battery is 88% after 500+ cycles, but 88% is shown under the storage menu

ofcourse it will appear a little off center because the phone is switching cameras and you zoomed in?
it is because the cameras are not in the same place and the phone must center the main camera with the zoom by zooming
